I know there is already a topic about Hades, but my question is, will anyone be going to Mount Olympus this summer to ride Hades. I went last summer, and i will most likely be going this summer.

I also read somewere that Mount Olympus was connecting to Family Land. But i do not remember exactly what it said, and i don't remember were i read it from. My question is, is any of that true?

And you can also talk about the dells in general.

I can't WAIT to get up to the Dells this summer...Hades, Avalanche, not to mention a Proslide Rocket Slide coming to Noah's Ark. It's going to be absolutly amazing!

Hades is looking awesome and I can't wait for Noah's rocket(Black Anaconda.)

I'll go again this year and do the ride all you can for 15 dollars for avalanche. And i'll also go to Mount Olympus at night. Last year i got a ride on zues and they don't check your restraints, so i got a ride with only a few clicks.

I went to Mt. Olympus this August. It is a pretty fun park. I didn't go on Journey to Atlantis at all though because it wasn't that warm out and I didn't feel like getting wet, but it is worth the money if you like Go-Karts, the coasters get old after a while because there is only a few.

I went on dive to atlantis. The ride is really slow. Your in the water part for about 5 minutes. It moves very slow, and you get very wet. And the good part, which is the part on the track, is only a few seconds long. I brought a cell phone on and it got all wet.

When you went last year did you see the construction. I did, and i took pictures, but i cant find them yet. I get to go to the dells for new years, and i'll take pictures of avalanche and hades.

Ill probably go in June. It should be fun. I cant wait to go on Hades and Avalanche at Timber Falls, they both look amazing. Plus Big Chiefs has the best go-karts around.

Edit: Sixflagsguy - I know what you mean with Dive to Atlantis. That water part is sooo long.

Yeah, I saw the construction when I went. Hades looks so cool. I remember if you wanted to you could just walk right into the construction area there was no fence or anything I found that kind of odd.

ya, the water part used to be even slower. They had to change it to make it faster, and thats why it opened later than expected.

I think it will be, because i went in august, and i remember going on zues with my lapbar barely on with my brother at night, and i remember getting a headchopper affect from one of the supports on hades. They have been working on it for awhile, and i think the supports are made of steal. So it's easier to assemble.

Its going to get hard to get pictures once they start building behind the trees on the parks property.

I'm going to the dells area for new years, so if i get a chance I'll take some pictures.

Yeah, I was there two weekends ago and a lot of things were being worked on. Hades looks structurally complete(and odd if I might add) and the Playday motel is completetly demolished.

Is the rest of the layout good, (besides the big drop and the underground part)?

It looks decent. That's all I have to say. But I would be interested to see what the actual length of the ride is.

At http://www.rcdb.com/id2667.htm it doesnt say anything about how many trains or how many times it does the cycle, but hopefully it does two cycles, like zues.

I meant in feet(ig 2,000 ft.) I guess I'll just have to wait for a formal announcement.

Don't they always have it go around the track twice on zues?

And if the track isnt that long they will probably have you go throught he cycle twice.

I think it will be long enough for 2 trains.(They may need 2 trains.) In that case, you will only be going around once.

Because they are combining the park with family land. There will be more people, and I think that they are making this ride longer than their other ones, because they want to run two or three trains to keep lines down.

I still haven't gotten the pictures that I took in the summer.

RCDB hasn't updated Hades pictures for awhile, but I'll post a link when they do.
