SheiKra announced at Busch Gardens Tampa

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.
Postby mschulz5 on October 27th, 2004, 4:42 pm
Well, all of the rumors were true. Busch Gardens Tampa will indeed be getting a B&M Dive Machine, the first one to be built in the U.S. of A. It will have a 200 feet 70 mph 90 Degree first drop, an Immelman loop (which is an inversion, so expect OTS's), a second 138 feet 90 degree drop into a tunnel, and a water splash element, all in its 3,188 feet in track. I'm expecting very good things from this ride. May have to make a trip to Florida in 2005! :P

Just to note the original Dive Machines had OTSR's so there is no doubt this ride will have them. I swear B&M is really reinventing themselves these days. Hydra now this!

What's a dive machine? I assume it must be a type of coaster, with OTSR and B&M making it...........

I'll probobly make a trip to FL. in 2006 with my dad.

I really don't think they are reinventing themselves it is just that parks are willing to spend money again.

No, I disagree. Look at all the coasters they pumped out through the last couple of years. All they are, are lift, loop, dive, roll, cobra roll, and interlocking corkscrews. I mean Hydra was a total reinvention of the floorless' they made in the past. Don't you see what I am getting at?

Hehehehe....... SheiKra. That's a funny name. Heheheheh.

I think this ride will be very intense. Imagine RB with a vertical drop, loops, and fogged-up tunnels- sounds like a deal to me!

Where does it say anything about loops and fogged-up tunnels? Also, this ride is very different from Raging Bull, most noticeably the seating arrangement.

And, might I add, a very poorly done video by a professional. It looks like it was done poorly on No Limits, or even RCT3! They should've definitely hired Keith from Badnitrus, now he does a good job with coaster videos. For example, The Hydra video.

Edited, added 2nd paragraph.

He is referring to the fact that it is going to be 200ft tall, which is close to Raging Bull's height. This looks like a very nice coaster but, I dont like the idea of a 200ft tall 180 degree turn around, but besides that, B&M has worked their magic again! IS this for Late 2005? or early 2006?

Try Spring 2005. Track and supports are already on site and ground work has been going for a few weeks or more.

you can see the immelman right in the pic on Busch's site and it says in their description there there's an inversions.
I don't have a detonator; its on a timer.
A countdown timer?
No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.

If you read the link I put in it says it will have an inversion. An inversion is an element where the train goes upside-down. That's what I meant by loop.

About the fogged up tunnels, they won't be fogged up but there will be tunnel.

I found out that rcdb doesn't have that many pictures of sheiKra construction. http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com has alot of pictures. They have already started the lift. I think that it's going to turn out great, because of all the tunnels.

I might be going down to Florida if I'm lucky. My mom has friends down there and I'm sure she would like to visit them.
