20 Yeras from Now!

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.
Postby T.K. on October 1st, 2004, 6:03 pm
What do you think Six Flags will look like in 2024? 20 years from now! I think that there would be couple new roller coasters (new kinds, never seen before). Park will buy land and evpand. Some of roller coaster will be removed:
Whizzer
American Eagle
Demon
and some others!

What are your guesses? Are they better? PLEASE do not comment this as STRUPID topic!

American Eagle will not be replaced with a steel coaster. We need wood back there. :)

First of all be careful with your grammer.

Second I think that the following rides will be removed:

Wizzer

Demon

Iron Wolf
It's green. It's blue. It's all over you! Enjoy your ride on Déjà Vu

Its funny that you said to be careful with grammAr when you spelled it wrong, and spelled wHizzer wrong.

But anyways, I think Eagle will stick around.
Iron Wolf is out, Whizzer's out, and an insane coaster goes in their places. A coaster should go in the sky trek area too.
What you don't understand you can make mean anything.

Six Flags blows it because of staff shortages and the park is turned into the world's largest kiddieland. Boy I hope that never happens......... :?

my theory is .... Iron wolf - Gone but a memorial should be made, Batman-six flags would probably would start to take it down then a memorail shall be made. Eagle- long gone! Whizzer - gone, then along comes a memorial. Demon- gone. S:UF- will under go rehab. raging bull- the year of 2028 will maybe be its last year. viper- long gone! V2- dont mention it! hahaha. i bet six flags will probably take that down within the next 5-8 yrs. D:VU- gone or maybe it will stay..... above all, i think that our park in 2024 will be conquered by mostly Bolliger & Mabillard coasters..... which is an excellent thing by the way!!!! :D

I think all the coasters will either have been extremely redone or demolished, and GA will be forced to build underground because of space shortages. This new type of coaster will be called "Sub-coasters" or "Sub-t-coasters." (Subterrainian). The Mr. Six dancer will have been revealed and then assasinated. As Chicago grows it will push towards GA, and eventually in 2065 a skyscraper complex will be built in it's place. Not that anyone will care, because of tons of advanced games and futuristic fun. Terrible, I know, but think about it- it's not that un-realistic.

In 2024, all coasters will be gone, as long as every other ride, because the demand for property in the suburbs will kill Six Flags Great America. It will either be a large business park or a subdivision. There's really no way around it.

Demand for property? In Bolingbrook they've killed off huge farms for about 35 houses, there's NO shortage of property just the lack of it

Some of you have wild imaginations.

It's borderline scary.

The day that Viper and American Eagle are removed before Deja Vu is the day I start to question the sanity of the management staff at Six Flags.

I think for sure that Viper, Batman, Raging Bull, American Eagle, and maybe Superman are the only coasters that I'd put money on to still be around in 20 years.(Maybe Spacely's and Ragin Cajun too. :) )
Finally Coaster Season!!

Rides removed:
Ragin' Cajun will be long gone in five years. Not many people like it, not even little kids (most of them). And (are you kidding?) Spacely Sprocket's will be gone in ten years. I mean it's rusty already, and it's not thrilling enough for most kids 8 and older. The eagle will be completly retracked and in 2019 they will remove the blue track because of space shortage. In 20 years the red track will be removed too. Viper will be hated because it will be considered a runt with international standards rocketing. In 2019 it will be removed. The extra space will be used to extend the Bull, now trimless (thank god!). Whizzer will be gone in 5 years, same with Deja Vu; they remove the Vu because efforts to continuasly fix it lowered monthly income. Demon will be gone in ten years, numerous breakdowns and a death will cause its closure. Suprisingly, Iron Wolf isn't taken down for 18 years (good thing)!

Rides changed:
V2 will still be there in twenty years because of its popularity and small amount of space needed. Both towers will be twisted and 420 ft. high, the launch will be increased to 120 mph.

Hurricane Harbor:
Gone in 2015 because of financial reasons. They'll sell the land and subdivisions will be built there.
