Batmans to hard to shoot.

I say stick with your initial plan and do a Southwest territory video. You could hace segments of the video in old black and white with the static lines, I think it would just be neat.

On second thought... how about a fright fest video?

You have to start getting footage for the SFGAm2004 video!

I say go with Batman - they are rare and it's the best ride in the park!

From filming the whole park ten times over I would have to say the two hardest to film are Batman and American Eagle. If you know where to go for batman you can get amazing angles for videos,(If anyone needs help contact me..lol) but still I had to cut the segment short. Batman was the third segment I started like in May...I just finished it. The video turned out really good, I would like to see A batman video, because it is my favorite segment in my upcomming video.

A Southwest Territor video like Timmy suggested ^^ would be really neat I think. That's my favorite area of the park ;). Batman would probably be next though I can see how it would be difficult to get certain shots. It could be done though.

A V2 movie I think is in line. Since I havent really ridden it since early June, I would love to see it in action. Never can get too much V2.

;)

I know what your all going to say, so don't even bother.

I think a Batman one would be pretty neat, especially if you could use the songs from the Batcave. If only the ride was close to the midway, like at SfStl.

Find a time when the queue is empty, and take lots of shots of our unique, graffitiless queue.

If you have a camera with a small lenses at the 1st and 2nd switchback under the Batman High you can put you lense inbetween chain link fences giving an awsoem view of batman diping over the polieec car then going through Vertical loop#2.

You also have been different angles to work with. You got Hometown Square, LTNP, the queue line, Mardi Gras, And then most of Yankee Harbor. It could be a really neat video, but a lot of hard work. Do whatever you think would be best and most enjoyable.

I like the idea of an American Eagle video or a Batman video, you can't find many of those. (Granted because you can barely see any of them without actually being in line.

I just went through and totaled up the first request of every post (so if you wanted two, I just took the 1st).

Batman: 4
American Eagle: 3
Fright Fest: 2
Ragun Cajun: 1
Demon: 1
Viper: 1
Southwest Territory: 1
V2: 1

This isn't a contest, just suggestions for Dave.

I too would have to say American Eagle. There really are not many places to film from(which is probably why videos of this ride are rare). You could try filming from the que line, Bulls line, Scenic RR, and the parking lot, but other than that, you'd have to be creative! :)
Finally Coaster Season!!

The Mardi Gras video has basically all of Ragin Cajun. So I won't be making another one just for Ragin Cajun.

Im not worried about finding spots to get video of the rides, Ive been going there long enough to know where all the good spots are. Only problem I usually have as far as Batman goes is getting the video in the morning, because in the afternoon the sun is in a bad spot to get any video of Batman.
