Wow!!! Now I can understand more why this original suspended coaster didn't last. Some of the swinging on this ride was pretty violent resulting in stress fractures of the track. They should have banked the turns. But, this is some rare footage that was un-heard of 30 plus years ago.
Holy crap that was scary. Did they even do the math for some of those turns?? Also, that 2nd lift hill looked a little jarring... (and that mechanic didn't seem very safe. I wonder if the cars were physically able to swing over where he was standing).
Wow! Awesome footage! It looks like the brake run at the end is at the bottom rather then actually on the track! Totally different from this generations of coasters. By the footage it seems like The Bat was where current coaster Vortex is?
to be honest this is the Holyg Grail of POV'S. that is amazing and terribly unsafe lol. I would of rode it though of course. That car was really banging hard on that. Amazing thanks for sharing

I heard about this ride. Seeing the way it swung from side to side was crazy! If they had kept those two corkscrews in the ride, imagine how much those cars would swing! It would tear the track in two in a month!
