Ladies and Gentlemen, please stop what your chewing and/or drinking, and pay attention to what I have to say to you....
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!DEJA VU OFFICIALLY RE-OPENED LAST NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No problems were reported with the ride really. The ride was planned not to be opened last night due to some stuff. But at around 9:00PM(private party started at 7:00PM)Deja Vu opened its que line to the public. It ran for about an hour before breaking down. Then 20 minutes later, it ran till almost 2:00AM without a single problem
I will be visiting the park later on today. I'll take some pictures and what not...YOU GUYS NEEDED TO HAVE FAITH!! Told you it was going to open
So after being SBNO for months, and months I guess they finally opened it. Way to go SFMM.
It's amazing how long that ride was down for, it had closed about 2 weeks or so before I went there in August. So it was down for about 8 months, if we had a downtime with ours like that, that would be our whole season.
So how many other coasters still aren't running at SFMM? Are Superman and Flashback the only other ones down now?
Z-Force (Flashback), Superman The Escape, and B:TR is down for a little rehab, other than that of course Sky Tower, Metro, and other flats. Rides keep opening up though, I heard Atom Smasher is operating, and X is running 2 trains. However RRv and Goliath are still in hell with 1 train.
Are there maintnence issues that keeps Six Flags Magic Mountain from running two trains on thoes coasters? It' always seems like they have stuff broken down (I know its open all year and there is no off season to work on them) but they seem to have much more go wrong. Whats the deal with their low ride capacity too?
They've been having problems keeping the rides up to standards maintenence wise, X use to run 1 train during the summer, thankfully they got back in two now. As for the low capacity they have to do annuals, their trains never seem to pass OSHA inspections , and a bunch of other variables that people wouldnt understand but complain about instead.
in my opinion: For a year-round park, they suck in maintence. Maybe they should take after Disney and how they do maintence year round in California and in Florida.
Yea they market themselves as the Xtreme Park when they have flats and three coasters down some others with capacity issues, and a coaster down for more than 3/4 of the
From what I heard Goliath as of the weekend of March 27th does have two trains running but didn't when I was there on the 21st. Also Flashback was up and running a couple of months ago but shut down again cause there trains did not pass inspections. As for Batman and Riddler ????
Waiting to fill this space with something stupid to say!
B:TR- rehab (should be opening soon).
RRv- 1 train.
Z-Force (Flashback)- Closed all year due to state problems, may open next winter.
Metro- SBNO, serious problems, prolly never gonna open again.
Sky Tower- SBNO, don't get me started.
Whats wrong with the Metro? It was closed when I was there. If they aren't going to ever get that to open again, they really need to put another form of transportation in that park.
Z-Force should just be removed, everybody knows the only reason it's still there is because they want to have the most coasters. Im surprised Guiness would even list them in the record books for having the most coasters when I doubt all 16 have ever operated at the same time.
Yeah I heard about that. That sucks for them, I think they have had the worst luck with Deja Vu out of the 4 parks that have them. It's hard to even find a photo of thier Deja Vu in operation since it seems to be down so often.

They cycle it a few times a year to keep getting funds from SF for maintenence for it but it's obviosley distrubuted among other, more important maintenence consumers :cough X Déjà Vu cough:. So if any of you see it cycle when your there, dont start any stupid rumors. Also the ride has plenty of maintenence issues. Sky Tower was closed due to maintenence issues a loooooong time ago and they never used any maintenence capital to fix it because they cant seem to staff it either.
Not much Del can do in this whole situation except gradually work it up like he's doing now.

I was at SFOG on their opening day. Most of the SFOG general public just tend to walk by the ride like it is not even there. We were talking to some people in line for Mindbender, and they said that they come to the park at least six times a year for the past 10 years, and they still have not been on Deja Vu.
I just hope that the way theirs looks right now (idle), isn't a sign of what is to come with ours when May 1st rolls around.
I really hope that it is open this year... Because i have two friends who have not been on it and want to go on it... And I think i have only been on it 7-10 times?....
I have only been the the ride once in my life. Its a good ride and i only waited about 35 minutes for it so it was well worth it. Hopefully I can ride it again this year
Yes! I had front row once or twice when i went up with my cousins and uncle and it was AMAZING! haha i would STRONGLY suggest that anyone who loves coasters atleast try front row once...no matter how long the wait.
From my 2003 coaster list:
DÉJÀ VU-
3 rides row 1A (1 first dispatch of season; 2 first dispatch of day).
6 rides row 1B (4 first dispatches of day).
10 rides back row. (2 first dispatches of the day).
8 total first dispatches.
43 total rides.
258 total inversions.
Been there done that, i'll take the one with the shortest wait.
