Holy crap, I like this one better. Claimed to be the longest alpine coaster in the world. This goes on for 5 minutes. Super drool!!!!! The track on this one actually looks like coaster track.
Saw that and was thinking of adding it to my itinerary as well since it's only 45 mins from Meiders, but compared to the one at Fort Fun, this one, though super long, looks pretty un-interesting. On Trapper Slider at Fort Fun any straight track is full of extreme airtime producing speed bumps, on Imst it's just flat for the most part between turns. Also it's 45 mins in the wrong direction.
If you go to Wiegand's website who produces these Alpine Coasters, besides more info on them, they have a list of every one in the world(that they made), including a handful in the US.
I don't know, it looks pretty good to me. Toward the end, the speed seems to really pick up and it has a bunch of bunny hops. I would hit both definitely.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.
I probably will, really depends how I/we(since I'm not going alone this time) feel that day, basically these are going to cut into our one and only day at Oktoberfest, so 45 mins in the wrong direction means it subtracts about 3 hours once all is said and done from our time at Oktoberfest
