I always find it odd how some parks waste a ton of space building queues and switchbacks that they rarely ever are going to use, or build really long winding queue paths that just go back and forth. This is a good example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqH_z-QgvzU
Another funny thing is the soundtrack on Bizarro has the most random assortment of quotes including Nancy Kerrigan going "why...why" from when she was clubbed in the knee (1:18) and at the top of the S Curve the "Hey you guys!" from the Goonies (1:26) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SfkohW6FXs8
Well, a pet-peeve with me is that some parks (especially Six Flags) don't want to change the line after it's made at all unless it's about getting more money such as a Flash Pass, and that St. Louis example is a perfect example. Deja Vu line was awful, and didn't want to change that either.
How about playing a Disney song at a Cedar Fair park? That's random.
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
Speaking of Cedar Fair, a few funny things I remember about Geauga Lake: the way they "removed" the Batman logo from Dominators seats and the first aid sign right next to the Boomerang.
Oh, I know of another one now. How about at Kings Island, they have this German place called Festhaus, and in it they have Chinese food, and Italian food. (Panda Express, and some Pizza Place) The place even has German like tables, and whatnot.

Another thing that is funny sales-related to Six Flags was when I was at SFOG recently every 45 seconds or so everyone working in the resturaunt would announce "Hi, welcome, would you like purchase a souvineer sports bottle today?" Sometimes I wonder where the line is for acceptable amount of trying to sell something http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7hfaM1jrWYM
For Deja Vu, the ride op said something about Heinz Ketchup. This year, a worker was being kind of funny. If you like this ride (I forgot what it was - maybe Orbit), than you might also like the Restrooms located in Hometown Square.

On AE ride ops put aside 30 or so seconds to advertise all the insanly priced food places and that "rain or shine you have a place to dine" This happned several times
They never used to advertise on the rides over the microphones before did they? Well I'm sure they need to money. Another way to try and get people to spend more at the park.
^I think it was just because they were waiting for the trains to come back
When at CP mantis has 30 minute wait and MF has a 20 min wait. I know MF has a higher capacity but its also one of the most popular rides in the park. On another note CP must have realized this or just cause it was getting late but the went down to two train operation when we were driving on the perimeter road
You know how most read people from left to right, well Six Flags for the main entrance has gate numbers (where you give your tickets or hand your season pass to person), and they are going the other way. The biggest number is all the way on the left, and the lowest number is on the right.
