This is a week+ late, but...

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

I thought it still must be posted.

I just bought this (http://www.kmart.com/shc/s/p_10151_1010 ... 830570001P - though mine has Santa in the front and a reindeer in the rear) roller coaster Christmas yard display from Sears for $30+ tax. The photo doesn't really do it justice. It's pretty neat, especially w/ the chasing light feature.

Anyway, after I bought it, the thought came to my mind to see if any other company sold something similar to these, and in my search for other displays like this, I found this (apologies if this has been posted before):

Is that not cool? I love the whole idea behind the "train" - who is obviously riding in front and back. I also get a kick out of it because it reminds me of Laser at Dorney Park. :)

Anyway, sorry that this is late, but I thought it was worthy of sharing anyway. :D

Other than the speedy lift, the engineering looks on par with The Ultimate Beast: The T-Rex of Roller Coasters at Lightwater Valley. I wish the lift hill went that fast on The Ultimate. X-mas ride I'm going to have to declare overall superior though.

I had to look up and watch the POV just for the hell of it, been a while since I rode and they have a strict no glasses policy so I never was able to see what kind of homemade contraption exactly was beating the living snot out of me...
