Hey I was wondering if anyone knew of a website that has any 2003 fright fest pictures of sfmm because all of the california sights that I go to (socalthrills.net, westcoaster.net, and some others) never have any updates on it. It sounded like socalthrillls.net was going to add another update to their excelent display of 3 photos, but they never got around to it. So, if you have some, will take some, or have seen a sight with some, you know what to do.
I don't know if this helps you at all but this is a list of all the modified rides with a discription. http://www.ultimaterollercoaster.com/news/stories/100102_01.shtmlYou might want to talk to X (I think that is his name) on these fourms. He works at Magic Mountain (ride op for X) and he may have some pics for you.
I think his name was LinkinPark4Ever or something. Anyways, i read on that list about riding Deja Vu, Goliath and some other rides in the dark. Do they do this in the daytime also, if so, how?
DEJA VU, GOLIATH, THE RIDDLER'S REVENGE, and FREEFALL - IN THE DARK! - Take a spin on some of our world class roller coasters completely in the dark!
This is last years ad for fright fest, many things have changed, and no it is absolutely impossible to run a ride during the day in darkness. And the last i heard i believe that they are using Deja vu's station as a haunted house or something. Anyone else no more?
(10/20/03) A few readers out there felt it was worth mentioning that Deja Vu will be closed at least November due to the placement of one of FrightFest’s haunts (Deadman’s Bog) in the ride’s station. Though maintaince issues with the ride could delay the opening for much longer.
A little of the topic, but since I don't live anywhere near CA, have any of the theme parks out there become threatend with the wildfires or better yet, which parks are closest to the area with the fires. And if some parks are in the area, what are they planning on doing??
