A fire broke out in a two-story maintenance building at Cedar Point the other evening, which resulted in the injury of 3 firefighters. Two were suffering from heat exhaustion while the third fell from a ladder while trying to access the second story of the building. The building is located in a back area at the park, so the park remained open to guests other than the closure of three rides nearby the area: Corkscrew, Power Tower and Super Himalaya. No word on what started the fire, but the damage to the building was said to be extensive. Screamscape-http://screamscape.com/html/cedar_point.htm
That's bad. About Cedar Point though, they say on Screamscape that something like a ride is coming that is familiar to people, and I wonder if they are getting a Wipeout. They had a Mack Hully Gully before, and that's basically a Chance Trabant, or Wipeout. And to me, that's a very thrilling ride.

There is much more than concrete at this park. Just because of that one or two main strips of concrete doesn't mean there isn't anything else growing like plants, and trees. I wish more parks had open land to actually walk. When you go to Disney and are smooshed by people, you will see you wish they had bigger paths.

Your "smooshed" by people due to the fact the park draws over 35k on a slow day.
