lol. We are trying to hit as many parks in the Midwest as we can before we move to FL in 2011. Plus we are young and very frugal with money during the year to pay for all the trips. Plus we tent camp on every trip (minus the St. Louis one, we will be driving from my old hometown in central IL, which is 2 hours away) to save $$$.

The only trip I'm worried about for the driving is Hard Rock Park one. We are leaving here on a Friday at 3pm and driving straight there the full 17 hours. doing HRP and Family Pavilion in one day and then driving another 3 hours that night to Augusta, GA (halfway between HRP and SFOG) to our hotel. The on Memorial Day, doing Lake Winnie for a few hours and doing the 10 hour drive back hoping to get home before midnight (my fiancee has work the next day and I might get called out as a sub.)The rest are fine. Growing up my family would drive straight to FL with 6 people in a late 80's Buick.

You should be fine, Augusta to SFOG isn't a bad drive and that's basically how I had my HRP trip planned last season. Don't forget to stop at Adventure Crossing in Augusta to get the wacky worm :D

Lol, thought about that. Not sure if we will be able to because we want to be out of Lake Winne by 2-3 and they open at noon.

^it actually stays open pretty late (like 10:30 or 11 on weekends)

Also don't forget to look into other area parks such as: Ghost Town in the Sky, Santa's Land, Carowinds, Dixieland ect
I'm irreverent and stuff...

We are hitting the Carowinds/Ghost Town area next year.

The big problem with the trip is we are leaving here at 3 PM on May 22nd. Then we are driving straight to the park formerly known as Hard Rock Park for a day there on the 23rd. We are also going to head over to the Family Pavilion for an hour that day too. On the 24th, we are doing SFOG the whole day. Then on the 25th, we are doing Lake Winnie and then driving home. The reason for all the tight packing there is my fiancee works on the 22nd and has to be up by 5:30 am on the 26th. The big thing for us is hitting all the coasters and important rides (such as the Riverview Carousel and also Nights in White Satin a bunch of times :D .) If you think we could hit any of the kiddie credits around either big park, let me know. I'm also open to any advice I can get.

What I did on my trip last october was fly into ATL on a friday, we hit American Adventures than SFOG friday night. Wild Adventures, Georgia National Fair, Dixieland than Adventure Crossing saturday than Carowinds sunday (and flight home) but you can hit Dixieland and American Adventures really easily as they're both close to SFOG and they both only have 1 credit (Dixieland has 1/3 custom Miller coasters <3)
