We had a crazy downpoor this morning with a lot of nice looking lightning. I was in my 3rd hour and my teacher seemed more interested with the storm then teacher so we ended up watching it most of the hour.

When I was in school earlier around 10:20 it got REALLY dark outside. It looked like it was going to storm really badly, but there wasn't even a drop of rain. It was pretty windy for a few minutes, though.
I was frissbee golfing this afternoon after school. We were in the wooded section of the course and when we came out (its on a big hill) we just saw black clouds, followed by rain clouds, followed by more black clouds. It seemed to have come out of nowhere. We dashed to the car and the rain is just stopping now, at 630. It was down pouring for a good 20/30 minutes.

A lot of flooding is taking place. 4 inches reported here in norther Kane County tonight-Kane and DeKalb Counties seem hardest hit.
There's rice, and there is rice. Technically.. I guess, you could call my car "rice" due to it's Japanese manufacturer. Either than that, I don't see why I would classify as rice. My exhaust isn't overly loud, my car remains decal-less, I don't floor it at every stoplight, and most of all, my car is FAST. Any questions?
As far as "American Muscle"... that's all a bunch of bull. I beat Camaros and Mustangs all day at the track, no problem.

1st-I classify rice as a car with a lot of 'mods' that don't do anything.
2nd-Can't you tune Camaros and Mustangs to go a LOT faster than what you drive (I'm assuming it's an 4 cyl.). Not trying to start a race war (I respect someone who knows how to race and who acually takes their racing to the track) but I've seen plenty of Mustangs and Camaros run mid to low 12's.

Haha, we have the same classification for rice then. My car is actually stock, no mods.
As far as tuning, the Evo8 is one of the hottest tuning cars out there due to it's 2.0 liter 4 cylinder powerplant that has been around for 14 years. 13.2 stock is a killer time for my car, but with $4k in mods I could be running high 11s. It's as easy as that. No drag slicks needed, stock tires do fine. To get a mustang or Camaro into the 11s, you usually need some type of drag slick, and a heavily built engine. I guess that's the short of it... PM me if you have any questions.
I know plenty of people who do rice mods to their Civics and it just makes them loud. I'm not like that.

Yeah, when you can have a guy that was called up to be in the bullpen start a game for you and nearly shut the Cards down you know you have a good pitching staff.

The Cubs take a share of the lead for 1st, after beating the Cardinals last night. I got to Wrigley Field at about 4pm for the 7:05 start. Rain began to trickle down before the game, but it was a nice night. It was Photo Day at Wrigley, and several players(Derrek Lee, Todd Wellemeyer, Jason DuBois, Glendon Rusch, Carlos Zambrano, Kyle Farnsworth, and Joe Borowski) were there.
ESPN might have caught this, but the fans threw back the Pujols home-run ball onto the field. The Ramirez HR was huge, and it was a good game in the end.
The night was full of StL/Cardinals bashing, even on the midnight train-ride home.
I could not get all of the photos from last night up (interesting things on/off the field) but some photos from Photo Day can be found at http://community.webshots.com/user/chiatrain
The NBA Play-offs are getting exciting. There has been many great games so far, with game winning shots etc..
Detroit VS. Indiana is 1-1 and it sall about defense in that series.
Lakers VS. T-Wolvez is also 1-1. Both series are exciting.
I want T-Wolves, Pacers in the Finals.
