I was on Steel Venom(VF) and we got stopped in the middle of the ride because a bird flew into the station. Then our seatbelts kept coming undone and the ride malfunctioned. But 5 minutes later we got a great ride.

Seatbelts arent automatic, how could they automatically come undone??
And some coasters/rides can be sent with unlocked restraints, but if it happens you can guess that the whole op crew at that ride will be fired within 24 hours.

I don't think they would send out a train with unlocked harnesses either, but I think I might've not pulled it down all the way when they locked in the station. And then the sensors thought it was locked... but it wasn't. I don't know. For anyone who's been a ride op, you can probably explain it better...
Either way, for the situation I was in, it was pretty freaky.

precisley.
The restraints would lock but then they would just unlock and pop back up

Sensors on the track let the computer know which restraints are locked and which are not (on newer coasters). Trains can not be sent in AUTO mode with any restraint unlocked. Ya know the line on the restraints @ Raging Bull? Its there for a reason. If that line isnt showing, it isnt locked and the computer knows it. You can try sending that train but it wont go nowhere. If you pull your restraint down with a broken actuator or shock or w/e is holding the mechanism in place, the computer wont consider it locked and again the train wont move until the restraint is locked. A certain click in the gears is required in each ride which enables the computer to allow the operator to dispatch the train.

I would love being stuck on the top of TTD and having to get taken off the ride. It would be awesome!!! Of being stuck on RB at the very end of the lift hill where it slopes then levels off. It would be awesome if you had to get evacuated.
-Getting a concussion on Shockwave
-My girlfriend pulling the lap bar down to far on Fiddlers' Fling
-Getting stuck for 20 minutes on the Log Ride at Kiddieland on the lift (the pad in the back of the log was broken)
My worst experience however is having the speakers fail on Rock'n Roller Coaster. Boy does that kill the ride.
Worst off-ride experience would be waiting two hours for Millennium Force it to breaks down for over an hour. Then, of course, after waiting like over an hour for it to begin again, we left the line and the ride started up again. Then the next day we had to wait 5.5 hours to ride it.
