Yeah and TTD was a complete rip of Xcellerator and Storm Runner was a complete rip off of TTD :roll:.

You get to go anywhere when you get good grades? I only get to choose a park when I graduate. And even that probably won't happen.

This coaster isnt a rip off of TTD. It has the airtime hill, a dual loading station and a different theme. It may be a similar design but theres only so much you can build when a ride of this type costs $25 million. I bet if TTD didnt cost so much or if they had more money then they would have added more to the layout.

It's not a ripoff, If it were it wouldn't have the dual stations, the extra hill, or 30more feet in height

What is this, the late 80's and early 90's? No, really this is a bit much. 458 ft.?? The thing I don't think has been mentioned enough is if it is going to work properly. I want to say that the ride will work better than TTD, because Intamin had time to work out the flaws. But who knows.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

that ride is a complete rip off of the top thrill dragster at CEDAR POINT
[/quote]

Just like Wicked Twister is a rip-off of V2. Isn't funny how Cedar Point can add a few feet, and an added twist to their version of V2, and the CP fans call it the greatest thing. But, when SF does something like they did with Kingda Ka, it is a rip-off of thier beloved TDD :roll:

Ok the whole "rip-off" business is really irritating me if its either joking or serious. No ride was "ripped off". I just hope people respect Six Flags a bit more after this. No one realizes what Six Flags has done for the industry over the years. Plenty more than just one park, Cedar Point.

How true that is The Beast. Because of our own Great America, B&M started off with two of the most influencal (sp) coasters to the industry. In fact, take a look at what Six Flags has started, and Cedar Point capatalized on.
Batman -> Raptor
Iron Wolf -> Mantis
Superman:Ultimate Escape -> Wicked Twister

Now Six Flags pulls the reversal on Cedar Point, and it is a crime :roll: . Six Flags will never get the respect that it deserves. Right now I am almost the sole Six Flags person over at the Atari RCT3 forums in a topic about Kinga Da. Our beloved park was bashed for being filthy, and terrible :evil:

WOW WOW WOW! RB4Life is right, Cedar Point copied most rides from SFGam- we got 1st Stand-Up and 1st Inverted! So? And anyway who cares, cause I don't. >>"I just wanna have fun!"<< Remember SFGAm was telling it to us in 2001 or 2002 season- remember that song? It's all about- "Record Braking, History Making", "I just wanna have fun" and "It's playtime" and "Flying like a super hero"! SIX FLAGS IS THE BEST!
Six Flags Ameirca as the number 1 park at SFI.... this is JOKE!

Why is it suddenly hate C.F.? They have less parks, and they dont have any Giant Inverted Boomerangs :wink: . Only unreliable ride by Cedar Fair that I can think of is most likely TTD. If you say that They copied off of Iron Wolf, then what about all the other non-SF parks with Stand-Ups, or all the other parks with BTR clones, ((Great White, thats right I said it!)) You can't say they were copying off of us because B&M Stand-up and Inverts for CP came a couple years after they came out and more were already made. Just because another park improves on an idea, doesn't mean they stole it.

I think that's the point. Kingda Ka is improving on TTD, but the CP fanboys are saying that SF is stealing their ride. obviously no one is stealing rides, but the point could be made that the fanboys are hypocrites.
I don't have a detonator; its on a timer.
A countdown timer?
No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.
