GREAT outing for Diaz.
We didnt hit Zombrano as hard as I hoped, but 6 runs on him is pretty good considering his era was 2 something.
Rubber match, i'm going to ride Demon a few times then coming straight back to watch.

I'm going with my family so I'll be at the park all day. I think I'll bring one of those small radios that can fit in your pocket with the headphones to listen
.

Darn straight. Great trade, Olivo's a good catcher but with Alomar and Burke it's well worth it to get Freddy Garcia, also, it's about damn time! We really needed a starter.
No Cubs fans have posted in here today?

Lee, Rowand, Maggs, Gload, Harris, Perez are all good outfielders and can hit (besides Willie). I don't think getting rid of a prospect right now is really that big of a deal especially when we got Garcia.

Horrible game..and no posts by me because I was working. At least sammy hit 2..maybe he can get hot.
Cubs have been very streaky as of late. The win 6 in a row then drop 2 series.
The year still isnt over. The Cubs can win 2 and spilt the year come next week.

Maddux didn't have his greatest stuff today, and the Sox took advantage. Oh, well atleast were still winning the wildcard.

Earthquake in the midwest?
I guess I'm sheltered but I've never heard of one around here. Couldn't have been that big right?

Actually, that's very interesting. Last night (actually early morning Monday maybe around 1:00), I felt my whole bedroom shake. The walls were vibrating and I could hear my closet doors move. I didn't think anything of it. I'm sure it wasn't an earthquake or at least a very powerful one.
