Vegas is done. Rode Xscream, only thing open on the Stratosphere that day, NY, NY coaster and Canyon Blaster at Circus Circus. Canyon blaster reminded me of the demon. NY, NY coaster was ok. I see what a few of you meant about the restraints. Weird indeed! Xscream was quite the rush. There are not many rides I can't ride no handed, but I could not let go of my restraint. We could have had the front, but the GF said no. Everyone jumped for the back first, because the front was too much to handle.
Heading To Great America this weekend.
Plane tickets have been bought for the East Coast. Busch Gardens Europe, Hersheypark, and Great Adventure are planned. Hopefully the new coasters are open by then.

horrible evening at six flags. Walked in place was packed which i expected so no big deal. Went and hit eagle red which was a very good ride. Actually was rather smooth? or did i just get lucky. After i got off eagle i went to get a drink at the stand over by the theatre which was packed. The attendents were very slow and i waited 20 minutes to get to the counter. Said id like a regular coke please (left my season cup at home doh!) he said i have no ice is it ok without... im like what? you couldnt put a sign up you have no ice? so i wasted 20 minutes for nothing. (sorry i like ice in my drinks) Went to the next one... waited 5 minutes at the one between bull and drop.... they had no cups... once again no sign posted. Finally, i went over across from x-flight to food court to get a drink. Moved my way to the front in about 10 minutes of waiting to find out they were out of coke.

Exit stage left ... get in car... go home... i was so mad. maybe im whining a bit but i got to the park around 5 ish. Saw i had time to ride 4 maybe 5 coasters due to the lines, and i just burned an hour trying to get a fountain drink and i still dont have one.

Did i overreact? maybe... but sob.

i figured if i tried to ride a coaster after that it would have a maintence issue once i sat down in my seat.

I went to Dollywood in March for the opening of Wild Eagle. I had some family issues come up recently, but now I need a vacation, so I'm planning on going to Cincinnati for Kings Island in late August. I may decide to try to hit Holiday World on the way back. If I do all of those, I should hit about 85ish on my track record. I think that may be all I'm able to do for this year in coasters. I have to work and don't get a lot of vacation time right now, so I'm limited to short trips for now. I'll probably hit 100 next season.

No need to apologize. Did you fill out a report at Guest Relations? If people don't let them know what is going on (or NOT going on - in the case of ice - which pathetically is nothing new) then there is NO chance of any change.

Always let parks know how you feel. In a very kind and polite way, of course

Carowinds/Kings Dominion plans are off as far as I know; probably won't get anywhere else this year unless I make it to Bay Beach or back to St.L again.

I'll be heading to Cincinnati for Kings Island on Thursday, and I'll hit Holiday World for a half a day on Sunday. If all goes well, I'll add about 13 coasters to my track record. No more room left in my car, but if someone wants to meet me there, you're welcome to. I'll probably be wearing a SFGAm shirt my first day at KI.
