Being a whitesox fan has Everything to do with it. If I were to be a cubs fan, I would have had a biased opinion.
Yes we have all seen the strikezone changed, thats why woods stepped in and had a word, hes the only one man enough to tell an ump what he thinks, dont argue with me, I'm right.
This Cubs vs Reds series has been Umped HORRIBLY! The stikezones have been inconsitant, the wrong umps were making bad calls, and not using common sense. You can tell this when BOTH managers get kicked out of the game yesterday. MLB needs to review these umps performance and consider appropriate actions.
That was a tough loss. Sosa had some costly fielding errors ( the wind was crazy) and Lee had a chance to tie it but popped out. He is really struggling this year.
Ken Williams stop procrastinating and freakin sign Maggs for the 5 years! Sweet jesus he's not gonna take the 4 year deal and just about every team in the MLB is waiting in line for him. Sher $14 mil aint cheap but he's been with us 5 years in his career hitting over .300 every year and he's an awesome right fielder.
Who here agrees with me, sign him before we lose him!

Oh I definitely agree. He's not only a great hitter, a good fielder, and a quiet player with many years left in his career, but he's also a fan favorite. Every White Sox fan likes him.

I have been tracking these stroms all evening and got some good pics. I have also been chasing these storm riding up and down I-80 out here. Its really dicey or it was.
Bleh these storms are nothin they get these every day in FLA I remember sitting in Gwazi's station watching lightning almost strike the ride and maintenence was working on getting the second train running on Tiger like nothing was going on and everyone seemed to go among their business like normal (with ponchos, lol).
Papas, shutup. What do you know about weather. These storms are NOTHING like storms in florida. First of all, people DIED in these storms tonight. Second, these storms were TONADIC, the storms that you saw were just garden variety storms.
I was chasing these storms and I did see the tornado in Joliet. I also did see the destruction in Joliet. There were shingles, insulation (meaning that homes were ripped apart), and trees down. These storms are nothing to call 'normal'.
My thoughts go out to thoes effected in Utica and Joliet tonight.
Aero, we get some terrible storms here in summer. Some worse than what you get in Chicago. Although some do not produce tornados, most have the possibility of producing them. Just last year there was one across the river at my house...I was just staring at it in my garage.
