I am NOT a big fan of carny rides...I just don't feel safe on something that can be put up in a few hours.
I don' t know the name of this ride, help me out if you know what I am talking about..
It did the same thing as PowerDive, but there are 2 ships, that go in opposite directions, I think it's called kamakazi?
Anyways....that thing only has the shoulder harness to keep you in your seat, and the time that I rode it, the harness wouldn't lock all the way, and I kept sliding out of the harness, I held onto my then boyfriend for dear life, and I have never set foot on that thing again..
Not a big carny ride fan.....but in the interest of tradition, I would have to say Tilt-a-Whirl.
Welcome to ShockWave please pull your harness down as far as it will go. While riding ShockWave please keep your hands and feet inside the car, and your head against the headrest, please hold on to all loose articles, especially hats and glasses. Enjoy your ride!

I feel safe on tilt-a-whirl and scrambler. On the thing where there are 2 ships and ons on the top and the other ones on the bottom, I dont feel safe at all. If I would have let go I would have been dead. Also, when the ride opp stopped the ride to let off epople sparks came flying off.

^Me too, someone down on the ground told the carni to hit the emergency brake on the USA and we were stopped upside down. I know what you guys mean, those harnesses are loose and i am a pretty big kid.

^It wasn't for too long so it wasn't so bad, however it was still long enough to see how loose the harnesses are on that ride.

As shockwave girl said, carnival rides are not safe at all just because they are put up in a short amount of time. I agree with this and I really dont like going on carny rides that go upside down or something like that.

You're more likely to die in a car crash than get hurt on a carnival ride.

^ Exactly. Mostly everything you do in life offers some chance of dying. Might as well have fun while doing it, that is my way of thinking.

I read on average 4-5 people die a year because of vending machines. So like Tony said when I die I'm gonna be having fun!
i'm rocking the suburbs, just like quiet riot did...

How do you die from a vending machine?

The Zipper. If I remember correctly, the old ones used to have a handle that allowed you to control the ride. Pull it forward and you flip, push it back and the cage just moves around like a ferris wheel. The new ones don't have that - but I still go on it every time I see a carnival that has one.

for Vending Machines, the sticker says dont rock the machine. Dont question that sticker, it knows best.
Not that anyone crushed by a vending machine after rocking it deserves to live anyways. Does make Darwin Awards more entertaining though.

I always shake vending machines because my candy always gets stcuk, but maybe I should stop and just let the machine win.

my favorite is either zipper, fireball (only because its a different ride each time) or any gravitron.

^I would like Gravitron more if it didn't get so stinking hot in there.

My favorites are the zipper, tilt-o-whirl, 1001 nachts, the drop zone.
And I tried a turbo force at Virginia beach by the boardwalk. It was awsome but very expensive.
