Roller Coasters - Front seat or back seat

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

Inverted coasters are better in the front. Possibly becasue of the footchopper effect. (Rides like Deja Vu and V2 are equally as good in the back)

Looping Costers are a toss-up based on the redes design and what you like.

Regular Coasters are backrow.

For me it all depends on the coaster. Mostly front though.
SUF is definatly in the back!!

Im starting to go more for the back now, just because I've ridden everything in the front.
Next SFGAm trip: heck I know...

Depends on the ride. Some rides I don't care. I also don't care if I've already ridden that ride that day in the row I prefer.

Try SUF in the back 3 or 4 times in a row and you'll regret it.

For Raging Bull I go to the back everytime 'cause it's awsome. If the line is short enough I'll go on front.

Deja Vu I go to the front because the line is usually shorter than it looks.

Well basically for most rides I head to the back. I go to the front if it's a short wait. And then if it's a really busy day and I'm sick of waiting I'll head to the shortest line.

Inverts and AER Front. I'm sorry but the airtime you get in the front on Eagle Red is amazing.

Everything else I'll take a back seat.

I agree... it depends on the ride and the time of the ride. Raging Bull back row EACH and EVERY time but if it is dark out front row is the way to go!!

I typically prefer front row on everything, but I'm starting to like more airtime, so I'll probably try the back row on a few coasters next time I'm out there. The last time I got good airtime was the last time I rode Power Dive...we flipped upside down and I was off the seat. The lap bar ended up about an inch or so below my knees....yeah, I'm crazy...I liked the ride...

I love going on Giant Drop and putting my arms up and legs out and you get TOTAL air! You are completely off of your seat! That's one of my favorite airtime feelings in the park!

Oh yeah!! Giant Drop is just as good for airtime. I always put my legs out....I actually got my mom on it once. She had her legs folded under the seat...BIG MISTAKE!! She said she felt like she was dying and her legs were going to be crushed....not the way you want to sit on that ride....I love the stomach in your mouth feeling....
