I heard a while back if he bought Six flags INC. he would take all the Flag ship parks (Great America, Magic Mountain, Great Adventure and what ever others there are) and try REDUCING Admission, Food/Game and Shop prices to get more people to spend money in the parks? do you think he would live up to this? i also heard he would not build anything new for 2 years to help get up out of debt.
Well with your logic that he will reduce prices I highly doubt he will make HH into a pay park. Anyways, it would amaze me if he sold the park to realtors who would then bulldoze the parks. Amusement parks are landmarks and bring tourism to areas. Also in a town like Gurnee, I'm sure it helps the local economy tremendously.

The town? of Gurnee has already established a higher sales tax of over 6% and has Six Flags, Gurnee Mills, and that new indoor waterpark being built accross the street. That town must be one of the wealthiest places in Illinois.

He will probably only buy some of the parks, and if he was not buying all of the parks they would not sell SFGAM, because it is one of their best parks. If SFI decides to sell their parks, I would like to see Paramounts buy SFGAM, but they would have to change the name because they already have PGA.

Leave it the way it is? Ok well EDIT YOUR ANSWER in 10 years when Six Flags Great America and SFINC are bankrupt and have no choice but to either Raise prices and Admission or sell the park to someone else who might do an even worse job. We need someone who will know how to SAVE MONEY but also spend it well. as in save money but still be able to build MORE new rides
SF has already unloaded their European parks as well as one of their Ohio parks.
Personally, I don't think they are finished with selling off properties. However, if SF stays afloat, one of the parks they wouldn't sell is SFGAm.
Only way SFGAm gets owned by another company is if SF completely folds.
One thing I find interesting is CF buying SFWoA. Right now in its second season under CF ownership , I have heard nothing but reports of a near dead park no matter what day you visit. Gonna be interesting to see in a few years what happens with that park if attendance continues to be as dismal as it is.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.
Ok children, grow up a little. This is the internet, not where someone just beat you up. Stop with the swears and name calling or else you can do it somewhere else.

In regards to the Cedar Fair purchase of the former SFWoA....
I've been there 2 times this year so far, once was in early June, the other on July 3rd. On the 3rd of July at Cedar Point we had a parking ban in effect for employee's because the park was going to be so crowded. At Geauga Lake the longest line we had to wait for was most likely the body slide tube tower, and even then that wait was maybe 15 minutes at the most.
Geauga's staff still seems to have Six Flags in its blood, as there is some major help still needed in parts of the park. But Cedar Fair's improvements will go a long way to help improve the park, as their waterpark stomps on Soak City, costs less, and includes a theme park with the admission ( $24.99).
What Six Flags really does need to do is focus on more improvements on general park atmosphere. Things like adding flowers, repaving paths, renovating buildings, stations, or anything else that may have fallen into disrepair. If they don't build any new rides for 2 years, but they did make improvments to infrastructure that would help much more than just adding in a major new ride while everything else in the park is falling apart.
when daniel snyder took over the redskins he did all he could to bring in alot of talent to his team by spending alot of money on Coaches (Steve Spurerer) Players {lavernious coles/mark brunele}, if he took over six flags that might mean he might bring more rides to all of the parks. which could be a good or bad thing

Well the Redskins still suck (which is good), but bringing in extra coasters wouldnt hurt.
