And we're not saying it won't be. We're just saying that Dragster will no longer be the tallest and fastest.

SfGadv will break records. It will be just as great as Dragster. I will go to SfGadv next summer. I will not complain about it possibly "being a Dragster clone". I am very excited! :D And who said it is a clone?(Even though evidence says yes).

Would you guys be disappointed if SfGam decided to put a Dragster clone in? I don't think so.

track length can be shorter cause if they dont have the dual stations, or the ability to load 2 trains at once, they can launch the train straight out of the station, and that gets rid of the unload station, right there that's 200-300 less feet of track approx. (I have no idea how it will be setup, have to wait for the announcement, all I know is the exact height, which I listed above, 137.4)

UnBullievable wrote:Why would they do this? Because CP took SFMM's record of having the fastest, tallest coaster in the world (if you want to believe that), Six Flags is going to get all "So? We'll buy one just like it. Only bigger and faster!" Six Flags is mad about competition. Thus why they buy out all the other small parks that show potential.

All I can say is, if this is just a Dragster clone with 5 or 10 extra feet, I will be severely disappointed. I'll still ride it though (since I'll be near it once I go to Dorney anyway...)

The way Six Flags is playing this up, it will be something very huge. Im going to guess between 430 and 450 Feet. But since SF is saying "This eats ALL records" i wouldnt be surprised that it will be like 500.

I have to say that Six Flags is making some waves at least with this new Coaster. And we will see how this pans out.

I think it's safe to say it'll be jungle or safari themed.

Why are wow guys debating the height if FParker gave it to you guys? 137.4 meters is what I'm assuming. So if you do the stupid conversion that will give you about 450.787 feet.

There are great pictures of the construction process @ either http://www.amusementpics.com or http://www.extremecoasters.com

It's going to be one wicked coaster that's for sure.

If it only does an up and down like TTD then it sounds like a coaster that is just trying to get publicity by breaking records. The whole speed and height of TTD wasn't why I liked it, although it was very cool, I like the downward spiral. A coaster just isn't a coaster unless it does something. I hope the track length is off.

Not only will this roller coaster be taller and faster, it will be broken down even longer than TTD. I mean think about it! TTD had it's problems but Cedar Point a.k.a Cedar Fair took care of it's problems right away. Now with Six Flags with all there finalcial problems and reputation of having rides closed down for LONG periods of time, This new ride will just turn out the be the world's tallest fastest HEADACE :x for Six Flags Great Adventure. :D

I think SfGadv is going to surprise us all. All of the Rocket coasters are runnin consistantly now(Yes, even Dragster) and I think SfGadv did their homework.

Just a few more days til the official announcement.

I think this is going to be really exciting for SFGAdv! I've never been there but I know they have a lot of great rides and, from what it sounds like, this will be a massive addition to their park. The shorter track length than TTD undoubtedly means no dual loading or unloading stations. So, in true Six Flags (cheap) style, they build an awesome record breaking coaster with much less capacity and way longer lines than needed. In addition, knowing how Six Flags takes great (haha, yeah right) care of their prototype rides (ie X @ SFMM), it will most likely be closed at least 2 or 3 days a week. If I was SF, I would have waited atleast another year so that Intamin could perfect the technology, or atleast improve it somewhat to cause less problems than Dragster has had. So, congrats to SF on the new records. Once we see this thing run consistently and effiently, I'll be VERY impressed.

Bleh, you must be from TN. CF doesn't have near as many parks as SFI so they are bound to have some SBNO time for their rides. I think we have great maintenince for the number of rides the company owns. Grr Six Flags bashers.
