do u guys think it will be up and running in a month cause im going to cp again. i have rode it before on first row and i got hit by bugs and they really hurt, i cant imagine getting hit my metal shards "OUCH"
I dont think that TTD will be open for at least 3 months, have to replace the cable and receive permission to reopen from the State of Ohio Ride Regulations; and Deja Vu is a coaster waiting for an accident, especially with the A row seating
Universal Orlando Mechanical Engineer Marathon down, Goofy to go.
First Disneyland bumps trains on Big Thunder Mountain so it's down again. Now TTD injures people. I always felt they where pushing the limit with that ride, but will Cedar Point learn from this? I don't think so bigger longer faster until we kill someone is that what it's going to take? Intiman shouldn't be blamed while all other ride manufactures said no to building that monster they took a chance. Intiman makes awesome rides and Great America is hme to many of them. Giant Drop, Sky Trek Tower, V2, The American Eagle. Former home of Z-Force, Power Dive, Sky Whirl, Tidal Wave, I'm sure I missed a few. One thing that should be point out is that Great America keeps up with it's rides. Even if it mean 4 Car Operation on R.C., down time on V2, and Deja Vu. In closing no matter how careful you are they are working with machines and yes machines break. Old Rides like The Demon run and run and run and run, why they don't have 500 Computer Sensors Talking to each other like Superman. Go to Kennywood 100 year old Roller Coasters run like day 1.

You missed the late Rolling Thunder and Roaring Rapids.
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
No you're wrong about Ohio having to inspect it. There was a big article in our paper the other day that stated since no one was seriously injured the state cannot come in and reinspect it. It is up to Cedar Point to do its own inpsection and they can open it when they are ready.
The roller coaster industry needs to start to be really cautious before we get some public backlash about coasters. These accidents are starting to get too frequent, and all they need is a couple of people to die, not because of their own stupidity.
Don't flame me for this but, lately the coaster industry is just askin it with these kind of accidents. I know stuff like this happens every year but, with TTD its a whole new story. This is just a thought.
NO! I was planning on going to CP for the first time this summer, I missed out last year, and I was hoping I would ride TTD. I guess I'll have to wait till next year to ride TTD.
Well at any rate I don't believe TTD is the best coaster in that park. You aren't missing THAT much. Sure it's tall and fast, but it's the world's best example that speed and height don't necessarily make the world's BEST roller coaster.
Well I mean of course it was a big deal but some people were like "Are they going to tear it down? Will it reopen this year? yada yada yada". Of course it was a big deal - even bigger than change being dropped off of the Giant Drop, but we won't get into that now will we.
