Just goes to show that cubs fans are the greatest fans on earth. They can sell out the opponents stadium on the road!

And cubs sell out weekday day games (when most people are working) so that just goes to show.

On a tad note, the NL Central has 6 teams, not 5.

CUBS WIN! 1 game back in the central. Go cubbies!

Huh? It seems that the Cubs fans sold out Busch Stadium tonight as there were quite a few fans cheering when the cubs took the lead. It is not uncommon for the cubs to draw a huge road crowd, in fact, the cubs draw the BIGGEST road crowd of any team. Nothing like seeing the opposing team get more support than the home team can put out.

Sox fans-What is their record road crowd? Probably only when they play the cubs. Even then it's not very big.

YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOARD - YEEEES!

3 run home run for Mark Grudzalonic!

Can Hawk and DJ play defense? Because the Sox could use a little help the way they are playing today.

4-1 Cubs in the 6th!

Lets hit Farnsworth before Hawkins comes in (we've seen WAY too much Hawkins for our own good in the past).

Also is Wood pitcing this series? I can't wait to see Wood vs. the White Sox :).

A bit of bad news: Showie down Diaz up, we're gonna need some offense tommorrow.

The Cubs win 7-4 today (damn i've always hated Hawkins and always will, looked like some hope after the Pauly home run). The errors today were rediculious (wheres Maggs when we need him?!?!)
We'll kill Zombrano tommorrow, but Diaz is very capable of blowing it so we need some better defense tommorrow and regular offense.

/\ No it's Diaz tommorrow, and were not gonna hand the Cubs a win becaue he is very capable of doing well and very capable of blowing it (I hate when pitchers do that). Anyway we'll get in double digit runs tommorrow.

Ooo i was under the understandin it was Munoz, Diaz has alot better stuff, his physical game is great, he just needs to keep his mind in the game.

I'm confident in double digit runs, if our pitching can hold it over it would be nice (Diaz came up for a couple games before and didn't have much luck).
I do have to credit the Cubs today though (man I hate saying that, lol). They took advantage of the stupid mistakes the Sox made (once again, wheres Maggs when we need him?). The only real great pitcher so far has been Shingo Takatsu (normally when we get that far its 20 to 21).

Don't be so sure of yourself, Papas.

Zambrano far and away has been the best pitcher for the cubs this season. He's 8-2 with a 2 or 3. whatever era. He's as close to a lock in the all star game as you are gonna get.

Anybody notcie that the Houston Astros landed Carlos Beltran last night? Pretty big trade that means Houston should be creeping up in the standings. But at this point I still don't see them making the playoffs even with Beltran.

For the record Zambrano is 8-2 with a 2.25 ERA. I am almost positive that he has had all quality starts(6 IP, 3 or less ER) except for one outing this year.
