Yeah it is just saying it is in capture mode or that the video is 'capturable' if you will. It is in play mode and I have pressed play. If I was using the other software I would press the capture button for that and it would take the video. But, when it's in Wndows Movie Maker is just doesn't work.
Try putting the camera in playback mode, rather than capture mode. See if WMM recognizes it.

Playback mode is capture mode. It plays it back and the computer 'captures' it.
So your camera's on the setting that would allow you to watch the video? If it is and WMM isn't recognize it, I'm not too sure on what to do.

It says something about choosing the camera you want to use and at the bottom of the little help page it says that WMM won't recognize just one camera. Is this related to my problem? Please some computer genius out there help me, it's just too much and I'm going crazy. I would love to make some good coaster videos.
