favorite sports: for me are baseball, football and hockey.i stopped watching the nba around the time of the 2nd or 3rd bulls championship...it just got too boring to me, although ive been watching a lot more lateley (dating the sister of a sophomore on the varsity team will do that to you) and i liked what the bulls had to offer last year, and im excited about the pippen return. i think if him and jalen can get along, theyll be a great combo. on a semi-related note...i like the wnba better than the nba.hockey is great and totally underappreciated in this country. i think that a little team named 'the colorado avalanche' have a chance to bring hockey nearer the forefront of the nation's sports pages with the team they have assembled for this season...although the net is still vacant, i think you can expect either cujo or the buhlin wall to fill that void. also....despite how much a i hate the redwings, im glad we are gonna get to see hasek play again. he is amazing. also in redwing news, federov signed with the mighty ducks. that means a lot less pressure on jiggy.bears news: the bears signed mike brown to a six year deal...excellent. 16-0 here we come!cubs and sox both obliterated teams yesterday...too bad neither of them will win thier division.

I don't think Hasek is as good as everybody says he is. He always goes down and I think he gets lucky alot when he is flailing in front of the net. The Hawks have the worst management in hockey. They will never win the cup as long as the Wurts family is in charge.

I hope the Bears do as good as they did 2 years ago. It sucked when they lost to the Eagles in the playoffs. What sucked even more was last year. They lost like half of the team due to injuries.

The reason the bears did so well 2 years ago was because their entire offensive line was healthy the whole season. And that took the pressure off of the defense and the defense stepped up and was phenomenal.

That is my avater .Anyways, the Bears have no chance. They go so so lucky in 2001. Almost all of their games were won in the final seconds by luck. Don't expect them in the playoffs...

The Bears do have a chance. I kinda dont expect them to make it into the playoffs. If they do then great. Im a loyal fan. I dont choose a team from a different state and make them my favorite because they are doing good.

On baseball news- The Cubs just traded Jose Hernandez and a couple of minor leagures for Aramis Ramirez and Kenny Lofton. I think it was agood pickup and they got the better end of the deal.

the bears sucked it up so bad last year because the offensive line wasnt doing a good job of protecting a frail quarterback who couldnt outrun a 300 lb defensive lineman...this year we have a guy who can scramble. not to mention that david terrel is back, and not to mention we boned up our defense with some solid draft picks.get excited, we will be better than 500 for sure.and regardless of how overrated he may be, hasek is extremely fun to watch, and when he is on, he is unstopable.

After seeing the Bears schedule, I'm going to say that they will be 9-7 for the season. Any other predictions from you guys?

I'm looking for some insight. Are there any Xbox players that have/tried Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic? I just wanted to see what the impressions are, as I have yet to rent/buy/play the game myself. The release date has been pushed back several times, and I noticed the game is finally out. The last game I was looking forward to that had several pushed-back dates was Batman: Dark Tomorrow, which was very disappointing for an Xbox game.Edit:Upon purusing the 'net, found a game called 9/11 Survivor: http://www.kinematic.org/911game.htmlThe game looks to be in pretty bad taste. In baseball news, Cubs win against Division leading Astros. White Sox make it 8 in a row(2 more in a row, and 'Hawk' goes bald.) Oh, and Frank T. hits HR number 400.

I usually would be, but due to a change in hours at work. I have to get up at 6 a.m. which makes me pretty tired around 11-12 at night.

Loaiza is pitching againsts the A's today :) . I just checked and KC is beating Tampa by 5 in the 1st inning . As long as the Sox play their game, win ball games, and not worry about KC, I think we'll see them on top at the end of the season. 8)
