HA HA. It sucks to be Martha Stewart. Guilty-20 years in the slammer (too bad its celebrity prison). It's about time some celebrity gets hammerd for doing something wrong.

I got this in an email and related a liitle too well to some of them.
You Might Be From the Chicago area if :
The "living room" is called the "front room."
You don't pronounce the "s" at the end of Illinois. You become irate at people who do.
You measure distance in minutes (especially "from the city"). And you swear everything is pretty much 1/2 hour away.
You have no problem spelling or pronouncing "Des Plaines."
You go to visit friends or family down south and laugh when they
complain about the traffic.
You understand that no person from Chicago can be a Cub fan AND a White Sox fan.
It's "Kitty corner" not "Katty corner".
You know the difference between The Loop and Downtown
You eat your pizza in squares, not triangles, and you never refer to it as "pie"
You own celery salt
You understand that the primary is the official local election.
You have drunk green beer on St. Paddy's Day
Stores don't have sacks, they have bags.
You end your sentences with an unnecessary preposition.
Example: "Where's my coat at?" or "Can I go with?"
Your idea of a great tenderloin is when the meat is twice as big as the bun, "everything" is on it and a slice of dill pickle is on the side.
You carry jumper cables in your car.
You drink "pop."
You understand that I-290, I-90, I-94, and I-294 are all different roads.
You know the names of the interstates: Stevenson, Kennedy, Eisenhower, Dan Ryan, and the Edens. But you call the interstates "expressways."
You refer to anything South of I-80 as "Southern or Central Illinois."
You refer to Lake Michigan as "The Lake."
You refer to Chicago as "The City."
"The Super Bowl" refers to one specific game in January 1986.
You have two favorite football teams: The Bears, and anyone who beats the Packers.
You buy "The Trib" and not the Tribune.
You know that despite being on the lake, there is no such place as the Waterfront
You think 45 degrees is great weather to wash your car.
You picnic or ride your bike in the "forest preserve"
You cried when Bozo was canceled on WGN.
You know what goes on a Chicago style hot dog.
You know what Chicago Style Pizza REALLY is.
You know why they call Chicago "The Windy City."
You understand what "lake-effect" means.
You know the difference between Amtrak and Metra, and know which
station they end up at.
You have ridden the "eL."
You think your next-door neighbor is a cousin to Tony Soprano.
You can distinguish between the following area codes: 847, 630, 773, 708, >312, & 815.
You have at some time in your life, used your furniture or a friend's body to guard your parking spot in winter.
You respond to the question "Where are you from" with a "side."
Example: "West Side," "South Side" or "North Side" or the name of a parish.
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST....
You know the phone number to Empire Carpet!
you can't believe it - you didn't mean it
but they saw you do it and they know your name

ROFL That is one of the best lists out there. It's all so true. Almost all of it applies to me too.
Chicago is the greatest city on earth though (Chicagoins always have civic pride)

I saw that a few days ago, it's alright. I wouldn't say it's the best commercial, cause in my opinion beer commercials are far better. It's a different direction though then the past commercials.

Welcome to last week. The best commercials are, as Dave said, beer commercials. I've laughed my ass off so many times watching thoes.

The announcer on that SFOT commercial has to be on morphine. Can he get anymore boring?
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

The best commercial is the Fox Regional Sports Report commercial from a few years ago with the indian announcer guy.

Anyway I LOVE those Quizno's commercials right now. They kill me every time I watch them. Anyone else know what I'm talking about?

I hate them. All of them. We Like The Moon wasn't that funny, and I don't know why Quizno's decided to make an ad campaign based on that.
this is a signature

Oh, so those Quizno's commercials are far below your level of intelligence?
Bottomline: The commercials are funny, and they make an impression. That is the idea behind it.
I find them hilarious maybe because I don't over analyze them.

You remember the commercial, don't you? By remembering those commercials, you will think of the name Quiznos.
That's what I was getting at.
It's not so much the rats, guinea pigs, or whatever they are, its the way they sing and their buldging eyes and messed up teeth.

The Quizno commercials are the best thing a company could ever ask for. They have done more good for quiznos than it would have been to hire a celebrity for a fracion of the price, and just because your a 14 year old that acts like a 40 year old lawyer, you look at the commericial too deeply, so therefore you nitpick it and find no humor in it.

About 3 weeks ago a Quiznos opened about a 5 minute walk from my house, never been to it, prolly never will. Nothing well ever beat my nightly Subway Chicken Teryaki with exta olives (now i'm all hungry, i'm typing this during my lunch period but I don't eat lunch).

Quiznoes are good because they bake the bread in an oven. It beats subway in my opinion. But neither of them can beat Jimmy Johns. Jimmy Johns sandwiches are heavenly! They also have great commercials too (radio-Q101).
