ScoreBoard Update:

Baseball:

Pitchers and Catchers for the Cubs report tomorrow (Wednesday for the start of spring training) and the big word around Chicago is whether or not Greg Maddux will sign with the Cubs.

Cubs GM Jim Hendry said Monday Night that an annoucement could be made by Wednesday.

Basketball:

The Chicago Bull have placed Jay Williams on waviers following his 2003 Motorcycle accident.

The New York Yankees traded for and got A-rod  .(yeah yeah blah blah)

The Chicago White Sox are looking to move either Frank Thomas or Paul Konerko to the Dodgers.

For any of you hockey fans out there, the Blackhawks have once again proven their stupidity and lack of will to win by trading Steve Sullivan to Nashville for, get this, a 2nd round draft pic in 2004 and another 2nd round draft pic in 2005. They wanted to cut his salary. I hate to say this but I can't wait for "Dollar" Bill Wirtz to kick the bucket.

The article said that it hasnt been confirmed yet. It also had a link to a page where it said Maddux has signed with the yankees. I guess we will just have to wait till tonight to see if He really is back as a cub.

I'm really glad to hear it but he should have been a Cub all along. We finally got him back but now hes at the end of his career. At least the Cubs are showing some desire to win by signing high caliber players like Maddox. Now we need to get "Pudge" and we'll be set. :)

Pudge signed with the Tigers like a few weeks ago. There's no chance anymore to get him.

3 days too late? We've know since Tuesday Night.

In other news DONT download new Aol Instant Messenger 5.5. It is bad. It installs 3 spyware programs, uses 35mb. of memory, and hogs CPU like there is no tommrow. Stick to 5.2. I'm having to reformat my computer because of what AIM did.

When I downloaded the update, it didn't do any of that. The only difference I noticed is a few more options and it shows notifications when buddies sign on or off, when buddies are idle, etc.

Woo! SCAM PEPSI! I just felt like an idiot and got kicked out of 7-11 trying this one out. http://www.macmerc.com/news/archives/1270

If you like pepsi and use ITMS then you just saved yourself 99cents. I'll still stick to Kazaa C++ for my needs.

Yeah, its been doing some crazy stuff to my comp to. I reinstalled 5.2, it may not look as clean when you look at info or in the im's, but hell at least it works correctly.

Same here, but I didn't like the look of 5.5. I too have since installed 5.2-but it isn't all good. AOD is still a problem.

You know what we need? Something to wear to Great America to be able to indentify eachother if we see someone. Something like a patch or t-shirt that says "SFGAmWorld.com".
