Just incase any of you follow college football (I didn't before getting to college). NIU is playing in a bowl game (first time in 18 some odd years). So if you want to root on an Illinois team in a bowl game then thats the team to root for (I guess it's the only Illinois team going).

General Topic - For things other then coasters.
U of I's Basketball team seems to be unstoppable, and may feature the best scoring trio (head, brown, williams) that the NCAA has seen in awhile. Throw in Augustine and roger powell, and this is one hell of a team, why they havent recieved more national hypeh, i dont know but I cant wait until March.
Around the world and back
Bulls win again!!! Five in a row. They improve their record to 9-15 after a bad start. Its not like there beating bad teams either, They have beaten alot of solid teams. Tonights game was a complete barn brawl through out the game. Bench scored 50 points. Great win for them, man Im so excited.
How are the Blackhawks doing?...Oh yeah they're in a freaking lockout.

Sox sign El duque, man the Sox are really trying to do all they can to make threir team better, while i didnt agree with the caros lee trade, give them credit for all of their efforts.

The democrat won the governor's race in Washington state. They say that the republicans will still challenge in court, but that it's pretty much over. The election in Ukraine is tomarrow. By the way it sounded on the PBS NewsHour last night, Yushchenko should win easily.
Wow I totally didn't follow that whole Ukraine thing. Anyway, did anyone get anything cool for Christmas?
