I'm sorry I don't want to turn this into a political battle but when you think Mr. Cheney is to blame for oil prices, you don't know the half of it...Heres the facts: America has 2% of the world's oil reserves but uses 50% of the world's. Also America hasnt built a oil refinary here for over 30 years...Hm I wonder why oil prices are so high.

Actually to be technical, Heating Oil/Sweet Oil comes from the Middle East and Crude Oil comes from Venzuela. in fact 90% of the United States' oil comes from Veneuela.
Dick Cheney has absolutely nothing to do with the oil prices the way are. Congress sets the prices for all the imports and exports in this country. The Executive branch of the United States gov. Is forbidden under the US constitution to set prices. So whether your for or against President Bush, his administration DOES NOT set prices. Your congressmen and women do.
And no, congress does not sit there and say 'lets charge 21.00 a barrel of oil' supply and demand and production regulates the prices.
And most all of our Natural Gas comes from the North Atlantic (we heat our homes in the midwest with natural gas). This doesn't add to the conversation, but I thouht I would post it anyways. I still hate bush and DICK Cheney.

Bush Administration wanted to drill in Alsaka since the begining of his term, don't say he has't done anything. You democrats would not let him do anything. If you want to complain, complain about yourselves for the oil prices.

I for one, am not a democrat, I dont lean either way, the BUsh administrations goal isnt to make america better, its to cover up all the screw ups Bush has made, Lets bomb a country, Lose 100 kids, and leave it almost as bad as it wa in the first place.

DRILL IN ALASKA! WTF That is just as bad as a botched invasion of a country for no reason!!!! Leave it to bush to stick up for his big oil biz. buddies. In his term, the clean air act and the clean water act were effictivly cut in half and the endangered species act was altered to allow oil exploration. Sounds good, huh?
