I prefer admissions music myself (Pennsylvania 5-500, Music Man). But every Fright Fest it is a nice little change for some different music, but after about a day, you want the regular park back .

It's Superbowl time. Who does every one want to win? I want the Panthers to win , mainly because I hate Tom Brady.

The Sqibs won...err...I mean New England. Damn them and their sqibs.

I wanted the Panthers to win by 3 so New England would pay for doing that stupid sqib at the end of the 2nd.

This was one of the more watchable Super Bowl games in recent times. Nice job by Tom Brady and the Pats. Also, did anyone else see the Super Bowl Half-Time show? I especially did not expect to see "that."

Go Patriots!!!!! I'm sort of a Patriots fan because my cousins are. But I think the commercials are the best part of the Super Bowl. Did anyone see the halftime? "P. Diddy you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind, P. Diddy, yeah, heah, P. Diddy" was kind of weird. I liked the Pepsi commercial (downloading music is legal), and the Pizza Hut commercial with Jessica Simpson and the Muppets.

The commercials seemed to be low-key this year, compared to others. A few of my faves include the Pepsi bears, the Jimmy Hendrix and Pepsi, Homer Simpson and Mastercard, and the Bud commercials.

In regards to halftime, it was pretty boring(nothing new) until the final segment with Janet Jackson.

Just decided to take a crack at this. All content has been researched myself, not copied and pasted from the NWS. Although, I did use the NWS for a great deal of research.
-------------------------------------------------

Snow advisory (better later than never, mike)....2-5 inches across North Central Illinois, lesser amounts closer to the lake. Snow should taper to flurries aroun 4am and continue to flurrie untill about 11am.

Synopsis: The inversion has broken down and the threat of mixed precipitation should diminish. By 7pm, the entire chicago area, barring southwest suburbs, should be experiencing snow.

Currently: Snow is falling at a moderate rate in Geneva Illinois with 1/3-1/4 mile visibilities. The temperature was reported at 29.1 degrees F and steady.
Glen Ellyn- 28.6 F - Light snow
O'Hare- 29.0 F - Moderate snow
Milwaukee- 30 F - Moderate snow

Thank you Tom Skilling :).

Anyhow, my favorite Superbowl commercials had to be that "Holy ****" one from I believe Chevy. Where all the kids got soap in there mouth. Or the one with the Candle blowing up after the horse applies some explosive gas from the rear....I believe it was a budweiser commercial?

I didn't see alot of them though, but out of the ones I did see those are the 2 that stood out.

You Must Be 18 Years Or Older to View This Post:

Well, not really. Does anybody remember the "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?" show with Regis Philbin? I just saw a commercial for a new version of that show, and dug of the website. Apparently, they're trying to give away $10,000,000 to the winner.

Woo, the auto show in Chigago is a pretty good one. We went today (pretty empty). Really fun, esp. since we had guest passes from Masarati (look for us on WGN news tonight) and we got to go behind the ropes and sit in the Ferrari's and Masaritie's. Great fun. Almost every news station was there (even Telemoundo)!

How did you get passes from Maserati? I want to sit in the Ferarris and Maseratis. Is the Enzo there again? How is the show compared to last year?

No Enzo (or at least I didn't see any). My friend has hookups with the owner of a Masarati dealer in the area and was offered 4 guest passes. We got to sit in all three Masaritis (my fav. was the Spyder) and Ferraries (only 2). It was classy-they had butlers walking around the exhibit giving all the guests champangne, cola, and some really good pastries. Made me feel important. Watch WGN (9) News tonight, you'll see the spyder.

I've never been to many other Autoshows. I felt it was great and prob worth the money (Masariti got us in for free). I missed the show last year, but it's missing some of the cooler stuff that was on display last year (the jeep waterfall).

I'll be heading to the Auto Show tomorrow and am looking forward it. I believe WGN is also having a special tomorrow afternoon. Now, where's that Super Millionaire money so I can actually get one of those cars.
