Oakwood 2006...

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.
Postby CoastsToCoasters on December 9th, 2005, 8:13 pm
The UK's "coaster country" finally released some of their plans for the new coaster, and its just what everyone knew it would be....a Gerstlauer euro fighter. However, this one is quite custom featuring 2 inversions. Here's some statistics and a link...

Name- still unknown
Height- 120'
speed- 59mph.
inversions- 2
max.vert. angle- 97degrees.

If you dont know where to go, click on new for 2006 then to page two, and its listed unknown with oakwood. From here you can then see their official website which now contains a video of the soon to be ride

Capacity would be a bit low for SFGAm, only 8 people per train (though it's already better than Rajun Cajun) :)

It'd be better without the MCBR, but then capacity may be even lower...? Its a cool coaster, the inline roll looks like the best part and its great for Oakwood. Im glad they went with something custom

All parks (well most) will have their streak of new, new, new and then chill for a little while. Its just our time to wait for something

Those pictures from RCDB kind of looks like No Limits. Doesn't it?

Possibly, but it looks good. I'm not too fond of the hill right away, it'd be nice to have it an inverted camelback...But hey its the new coaster finally coming for them at Oakwood :D
