Has the most interesting layout? I'm pretty sure all three of those are as close to clones as you can get (Other than height).
Anyway, I'd take Viper over SW any day of the week. They fixed the turn, trimmed the first loop and it ran very smooth. So it's still got a good first drop, and I don't hate the ride after the first drop.

The biggest difference is that Viper has a 180 degree turn after the first loop instead of the 90 degree turn like Shockwave had. They also took out the turn of death out of Viper. Other than that same basic layout and same inversions.

Viper uses to many trims, takes away the intensity.
GASM also was fitted with a trim or 2, and the loops for some reason tended to bang my head backwards against the headrest right at the top of each vertical loop. Also as demented as it was I liked our turn of death into the block brake which was redone on GASM by having the loops shift you to the right instead of the left, leaving alot more room for that turn.

http://themeparkcritic.com/scripts/profile/ViewProfile.asp?ViewID=2909 A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!
GASM is nearly the same to SW, Viper is more compact than the two as they are identical, Vipers is not, they all share(d) the same amount of inversions, all made from the same company, SW was the only unique color scheme and was once the tallest looping coaster, GASM is still in tact, Viper is barely, Vipers more "twisted" yet features an unusual flat, hhmmmm.......
My calculations point out that Shockwave was better. I may have disliked it but I have to say that it was really neat to even look at and ride even though the pain came afterward....Garsh darnnit, some of you guys here really get others to appreciate what we have and what is now lost
