Ok, I think this is pretty cool. If any of you do also then just post.

I read somewhere (forgot where) that on Top Thrill Dragster, you would be completely safe even with out the lapbar or seatbelt. You could just sit in the seat and go. Because there is so much smptripical force (hope I spelled that right) on you during the launch (you're pinned into your seat), when going up (you are going up vertically, gravity is pushing you down), and during the decent down (all the smptripical force pushing on you when decending).

I thought that was pretty cool. Post if you do too!

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!

It wouldnt be safe because you could get out if the train got stuck on the top hat.

I think this is true of all coasters, but in particular TTD.

No, that's not true at all. Think of any hill where there is Negative G's. You would fly right out of the train. This is true for Top Thrill Dragster as well. Even the slightest amount would send you flying.

CENTRIFUGAL is the corrent spelling

But I don't know if that applies to a roller-coaster type ride. It applies more to a spinning type of ride.

I am not a physics student so I really don't know.

This technically could happen, if your creeping over the top hat, this would still send you flying. Also, this is true about OTSR's too.

Possible, but not reccomended.

That would be awesome with no restraint. But I totally agree that the air time on the top hat would kinda blow you out of your seat. I would love riding a coaster with no seat belt.

I mean I wouldn't recommend trying (even though they wouldn't let you). I think the thing I read was something like there was an interview with the designer and he was talking about Top Thrill Dragster. The thing was dated in 2003 when Top Thrill Dragster made it's debute. The designer said all this so it must be true.

As Drkstarboard just said, I think the designer knows just a tad more than you.

^Unless this ride provides to have no instances of negative Gs, which i know is not the case, then the designer was wrong. Anyone in basic physics would know that gravity would not hold you in the seat while going over that top hat.

I might be wrong on this, but i think that you would fall at a different speed on the drop due to the fact that the vehicle has a higher mass than your body does. Anyone know the formula?
