Paint Schemes

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.
Postby Trailblazer Tony on November 9th, 2005, 4:03 pm
I have noticed that there have been a lot of rides that have changed their paint schemes over the past few years. I was wondering, what are your favorite changes and your least favorite changes.

Favorite: I like Batman's change to yellow the best, I thought the black color made it look rundown.

Least Favorite: Iron Dragon's switch to yellow. I think this coaster looks so much uglier yellow instead of the original white.

How about everyone else?

I don't like Batman or Iron Dragon yellow AT ALL!!! It doesn't go with either of the rides at all.

My favorote paint scheme of all time is Raging Bull's.

SFOT's has a very similar paint scheme.

I like the one launch coaster with the fade effect, but I wish the fade didn't start until past the supports.

I also liked Shockwave's. I don't know why.
Raging Bull's is cool too.

Favorite Paint Schemes: Déjà Vu, V2, Top Thrill Dragster, Raging Bull, Millennium Force, Magnum XL-200, Batman the Ride, Superman: Ultimate Flight, + more (will edit when thought of)

Least Favorite: Ragin' Cajun, Whizzer (DESPERATLY needs a repaint if SFGAm plans on keeping it), + some more (Will Edit when thought of).
It's green. It's blue. It's all over you! Enjoy your ride on Déjà Vu

My top two I beleive would be...
Raging Bull-grey, orange, wine red/purple...awsome how well it fits SWT, adds great color to the park.
Wicked Twister-sunburst yellow, water like teal...great colors for being set along the lake, gives it a beachy theme. The trains also have a great mix of colors.

It would look so much better if it was built over something not blacktop.

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!

^I agree, Superman's paint scheme is the best in the park, i think. I like the white stripe on World of Fun's Patriot, though. That is pretty neat.
