Now that looks fun. I'm glad that I'm probably going to Cedar Point next summer and that will be a ride I will definitely try.

Wow, I really hope I get to CP next summer since I couldn't make it this past summer. Now I have 2 new flats to look forward to if I go next summer. That looks really fun.

Yeah me too. Of all the times I got out to CP this year I couldn't get on MaxAir for various reasons. Now I have a couple new rides to get to the point for in 06.

I knew it was a swing. When going up the hill on Maggie last weekend I could tell what the parts in the back lot were for no question.

If I'm missing the point, someone please point me in the right direction, but doesn't this ride give about the same forces that MaXair gives? I don't understand the point in getting two giant swing rides in two consecutive years that offer pretty much the same experience.

Looks fun, however, but it's very similar to another ride already in the park.

Well these giant swings only hold a lap bar and it goes past vertical. Thats a hell of an experience being 100+ ft nearly upside down in the air if you ask me. To be honest if we got this instead of a new coaster to cram in, I would be more than happy :D
Cause I love the way RUSH looks at Thorpe Park. Theyre amazing flats.

If you watch the video, it has a large area for the queues. Do you think it will actually be full very often?

(How was MAXAIR's line?)

Well they are on opposite sides of the park for one thing, and sometimes you need a whole day just to get through 1/2 of this park on a busy weekend. Especially with Frontiertown where this new one is being built. I just LOVE taking my time through there checking out museums, shops, and just sitting down and enjoying the scenery. Plus there are alot of rides back there.

Another thing is they are actually different. Watch these vids.

Nice addition without taking out or losing a thing in the area.

^ Note how your doing it with ONLY a lap bar on this, maXair is an OTSR.

ZJohn, the line for maXair moved quick. But you loaded 50 people a cycle.

I'm suprised this isn't a pay attraction.

^ Actually that is yet to be determined. However if it holds 40 people and expects 800 rides an hour, I highly doubt it will be an upcharge.

The part i find strange is since it will not be replacing White Water Landing, why did they shut it down? I think this is only the start of a huge expansion in that part of the park.

Exactly. They will likely be laying footers for something HUGE for 07. They were tearing it down as soon as the last ride finished sunday night. Like with MF and TTD they built them for a long time.

I can't wait.
