I think this may have been a topic before but i'm not sure. Give me your top 5 list of Manufacturers for coasters.
Mine,
1.B&M Obviously the smoothest, biggest, and intriguing coasters out there
2. Morgan, no OTSR's , big long coasters, and fun!
3. Intamin, makes great rides that touch the sky and makes awesome woodies
4. VeKoma- I know i'll get heckled for this. They make unique rides for bigger parks, but their classics are popular too.
5. S&S- Aside for being the shortest coasters they are wickedly smooth and very scary.
Honorable Mentions,
Great Coasters International, Premier, Arrow Dynamics (No longer)
1)Bolliger & Mabillard-Smooth big rides!
2)Intamin-Fast, unique rides!
3)Vekona-Not the best but once thier rides are workin youll have a hell of a time!
I am undecided... ever since 1999, many great coasters have been erected. Usually I would go for B&M, but there are other intersting companies out there like Gerstlauer, CCI, Reverchon, Zamperella, and Fabbri (sort of). Now, I am not saying that these manufacturers are better, but they look like companies i would sort of look more into than just the more popular companies. so above all, i am undecided.
1. B&M - It should be no surprise if B&M is the cream of the crop on any list of this nature. Their coasters are being cloned worldwide, they've made great breakthroughs in inversions and train designs as well, and their safety record is second to none.
2. GCI - What B&M does for the steel coaster, GCI does for the woodie. Combining unique and flawless coaster designs full of airtime and headchoppers, they're the ones to beat in this limited but favored field.
3. Intamin - What kills them is their safety record, Intamin has become notorious for many an accident on their rides and the increased downtime on their new rockets isn't all that inspiring. They've got the designs for some of the best coasters in the world... if only their maintainence were just as good.
4. Gerstlauer - Three cheers for the little company that could! 90 degree lifts, 97 degree drops, and Wild Mouse coasters that do more than zig and zag. Their wooden coaster trains aren't much to be happy about, but they're one of the biggest up-and-comers the coaster industry's seen in a long time!
5. S&S - While they haven't built many coasters, what they have built is quite impressive. Using a reliable compressed air launch technique, S&S is quickly becoming known for it's coasters. It's Screaming Squirrel design will also be a world's first that's sure to catch on in many parks.
1.GCI- obviously the BEST manufacturer of woodies out there. (intamin, and vekoma for exmaple)
2. B&M's ability to combine smoothness and complexity together has proven to be the best ever.
3. Morgan- I don't know why only 2 people have voted it in the top 5.
4. S&S- it's ability to use air shoes how launch coasters can be smooth as well
5. Gerastuler- I've always had a taste for the smaller businesses. 6. intamin
7. vekoma
8. premier
9. zierer
10.reverchon
B&M - My first experience was on Batman The Ride. The ride might not be the tallest or the fastest, but it is very intense. Very smooth. Hopefully SFA will get a B&M one day.
Intamin - Superman: ROS very intense and good airtime. Speed is incredible expecially on Volcano: The Blast Coaster. Very smooth at times, but restraints can be a problem at times.
Premier
Pros - Excellent at their launching coasters.
Cons - Coaster extremely loud.
GCI - Their wooden coasters have excellent layouts and are very thilling. Ex. Roar is one of the most popular wood coaster and custom at SFA until SFMW got one the year after. Now its cloned. BOO!
S&S
Pros - Ride is fun and unique.
Cons - Experiencing problems and always changing the restraints. Hypersonic XLC changed their lapbars about 3 to 4 times.
Vekoma
1. SLC - rough at times, but good ride.
2. Invertigo Face to Face trains - smooth and fun to look at people reactions on the ride.
3. Flying Dutchman - These coasters will make you feel like you have wings. Lets Fly!!!!!!
B&M gets my vote

Well, I dont necessarily rank Coaster manufacturers for the ride expierience their rides give as they all have hit and misses, but I can give this.
#1 for quality/reliability, B&M
#1 for Ride Expierience would be Intamin
and #1 for Innovation would be Vekoma (both former and current)
if I took those 3(actually just going to do the list above) and went by how good of a ride they give(good being thrilling, not necessarily smooth) it'd go
#1 Intamin
#2 Current Vekoma
#3 B&M
#4 Morgan
#5 Former Vekoma (currently known as Kumback Coasters)
#6 S&S (going by the only coaster of their's I've ridden, the POS known as Hypersonic)
Favorite Wood Coasters: The Voyage, Ravine Flyer II, Thunderhead, Balder Favorite Steel: Voltron Nevera, Steel Vengeance, Expedition GeForce, Olympia Looping Parks visited: 232, Coasters Ridden: Steel: 894, Wood: 179, Total: 1073
I vote B&M because even though they will never make anything over 250 feet tall, their layouts are interesting and their coasters are pure 100% fun. for wood I would have to say PTC (even though they dont really make many coasters anymore) Blue Streak, Racer and Screamin' Eagle were some of the best woodies ever. I also like GCI because they make very interesting coasters with plenty of Airtime and they are fun. I would like Intamin if their coasters were safer and if Impulses wernt so boring. even though I love the Intamin trio at CP.
I'm an Intamin fan. I don't ignore the accidents they have had, or the problems with the products, but they have built some of the gutsiest coasters and they are all so much fun. When I go to a park, the Intamin is usually my favorite. S:RoS... MF...The Impulses
This is easy.
1. PTC-I havn't been on of there coasters that wasn't great.
2. B&M-I like many B&Ms.
3. Premier-Mr. Freeze is really awesome.
4. Arrow-It's an up and down company for me. I think some rides are great while others just stink.
5. Intamin-They make good speed rides.
Side Notes
Dinn Corporation has made one awesome woodie that I have been on, Georgia Cyclone.
GCI-I try to avoid these because they are just in my opinion crazy without giving me huge airtime.
Vekoma-They should stick to boomerangs and kiddie's because I hate everything else they do.
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
