For a cool 1.6 million, you could have your self your own amusement park. Oh, and just throw in an extra 3 million just to get the park up to running condition.[/url]
Introducing the newest addition to the Six Flags Family... Six Flags Kansas or Six Flags over Cornfields.
All they have to do is buy it cheap, sink about 50 million in coasters on it and just wait for the profits to roll in. After all this business plan has worked for them so far, right?
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.
It's always a shame to see an amusement park just sitting there with all the rides detiorating...especially such a classic roller coaster. It is one of my dreams to own a small amusement park when I get older.
http://themeparkcritic.com/scripts/profile/ViewProfile.asp?ViewID=2909 A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!
SF should buy the park for 1.6 million, take some rides out, especially the rollercoaster (and move it to a SF park), and sell it. They should not buy another small park, and try to make it into something though. That rollercoaster nowadays would be worth more than 1.6 million alone. I'm sure some SF park needs a wooden rollercoaster.
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
Actually all you'd have to do is borrow the money, buy it and try to get a couple million $$$ so you can pay off the loan and then have some extra cash. It sounds soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much easier than it really is though.

That park could be brought up to operating standards for under a million bucks with all rides running. While I havent made it there yet, supposedly it was a fairly decent place (though in a shady part of town), coaster was nothing outstanding, and your usual collection of vintage flats.
