That'll be even more negative publicity for SFI. I wonder if a Cedar Fair fanboy did this :?:

No, he's just jelous that CP doesn't have the world's tallest and fastest coaster anymore. No more bragging rights on CB.

It's very sad that the shooting happened though. That's the last thing you want while your at an amusement park.

But it was in the parking lot so six flags shouldn't get the blame.

For the latest details you can read this article:

This type of stuff is happening more and more in neighborhoods across the country. This same shooting could have happened at Busch Gardens Williamsburg just as easily.

People get in minor fights and sometimes someone has a weapon on them and they get out of hand. This happened to a graduate at my school this year at a football game, because he was trying to break up a fight in a parking lot. All amusement parks and places with large parking lots and big crowds should have better security. I know that they can't search every car for guns, but they should have more towers, like sfgam and have everything enforced.

Ma tells me someone was shot IN SFGAm the day she was there. That's why they installed metal detectors.

They've had them way before all of that. I think I went to SFSTL when their metal detectors were new and it took forever to get into the park. But that was way back in 1999 or 2000.

I thought it was kinda funny. It's not like this guy is serious or anything.

Just a little coaster nerd humor. :D

Well, Six Flags Africa may be alittle more shooting prone than most other parks :)

Though it is true and can happen anywhere, hell there have been stabbings at SFGAm.
