Stomach Ulcers and Coasters?

(I didn't know where this should go, so don't go haywire on me)

My friend is going with me on opening day, unfortunatley he has stomach ulcers. Would he still be able to ride?

He should ask his doctor. It depends how bad they are.

Yes, please seek the opinion from the medical community, not the coaster enthusiast community. Don't take any foolish risks, it's not worth it.

He called the doctor. Hasn't responded any most likely will say no. Considering his doctor says no to anything he does. I just trying to see if anyone else has his condition and can ride care-free.

I have Ulcers.

I can ride no problem.... Its just the theme park food i need to avoid.

Tell him to have fun.

Like Aero said, id talk to a doctor, Ulcers are not something to be playing with. Especially if they start to bleed.

no kidding, my dad has them, he cant go on any rides so he never gioes tio the park but i'd ask a doctor, you never know!

I agree with everybody else, please consult the Doctor. Mostly
likely the Doctor will say No, but it's better to check.

I should talk though. 2 weeks after having major stomach surgery
in 2003, I went to California and rode the X, with out telling my doctor!
It didn't hurt, except for when I went on Psyclone. I was in HORRIBLE
pain.

So with any stomach problem, ulcers, what have you, please consult
your Doctor.

^Chances are the extreme pain on Psyclone wasn't because of your stomach. :lol:
