With brand new coasters being added in several parks this year, which of the new class of the thrill machines we all love is most intriguing to you and why? (These have been limited to new coasters in the United States)

Of these most intriguing rides, which are you most likely to ride in '05?

For me, its got to be Kingda Ka and Hydra, they look to be awesome rides!
and the most likely for me to ride in 05.

Kingda Ka because i love the idea of getting rocketed 129 MPH!

What do you think?

I definitely agree, Kingda Ka and Hydra look the most intriguing. They look really awesome. I don't think I will get a chance to ride any of these new rides this season, though.

Definately Kingda Ka. Before we even knew about Kingda Ka, I was heading out to Great Adventure. So this ride should make the trip a little better. not little a lot better. :D

To me, Hydra looks like the most intruiging and the most unique roller coaster i've seen so far, in terms of new coasters... :!: :)

While i'm saddened that coasters nowadays take you 450 feet in the air, drop you and nothing else, Kingda Ka is probally the best coasterwise.

The most intriguing coasters to me for 2005 are Hades, Italian Job, and Sheikra. Hydra doesn't impress me and I have a feeling that it could be a huge letdown and Kingda Ka could also suck(since brakes are supposively being added to the top for an added view. :? )

Hades is going to rock, Sheikra also seems great and new, and if Italian Job is even remotely like the Mummy, it is going to be fun and rock as well.

I guess I will vote for Sheikra though!

I am more intrigued by Powder Keg. A launch coaster with a minimum ride height of 42", I though it would be a long time before I could take my daughter on a launch coaster. Now all I have to do is hope that my Uncle goes back to his timeshare in Branson this year. The track looks like it has some good air hills and nicely banked turns. It should be fun.
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.

ShieKra, because of the Immelman and the 200 foot vertical drop. I have never been on a Vertical Drop coaster so I think it will be a cool ride.

Hades also looks cool, but I don't know the complete track layout yet.

I picked Kingda Ka just because first it was TTD where it went strait up and down, now Kinda Ka has a hill in it. i think its cool that there slowly adding new things. Other than Kingda Ka i would have to say Hydra looks really cool.
Next SFGAm trip: heck I know...

I'd have to say Hades. I say this because the ride is basically an underground coaster that has a helix of 93 degree banked turns, if I recall correctly from NCC.

I voted Hades. It seems like the most interesting to me. Hopefully I will have a chance to ride it. I liked TTD and Kingda Ka looks to be almost exactly the same except for a couple of feet, sped and a bunny hill, they could have made it much better.

If you want to limit it to the United States, then I'm definitely intrigued and curious about what Hades' underground portions are going to be like. However, you have to look at Sweden's Kanonen if you really want intrigue. The world's smallest top hat looks more like the world's craziest bunny hill. What's this going to feel like and when's it coming to the U.S.?

I am really looking forward to Italian Job: Stunt Track. I've been watching the construction pics on PKI's website, and seeing those pics makes me think I seriously under-rated the ride last summer when it was announced!
I am also looking forward to both Hydra and Hades. Hades looks like it is going to be one heck of a ride! I'm going to have to haul my butt down there to try it out this summer! :D
Finally Coaster Season!!

in order:
Sheikra: looks amazing, B&M never dissapoints (not to me at least) so this should be a great coaster.
Hydra: WOW, quite possibly the most inventive coaster B&M has ever done.
Hades: again WOW, I can't wait to ride this beast durring Coaster Con
IJ:ST: the themeing looks great and the helix...unbelievable! cant wait to ride this durring it's Media Day.
Powder Keg: looks like fun, lets see what the first project by S&S/Arrow can do!
KK: pointless, "hey look great adventure just got top thrill drags...I mean...Kingda Ka" Im sure CP will reclaim the record within the next 2-3 years.
to bad this is limited to the U.S. because Rita looks pretty awesome, its the only rocket coaster that dosen't launch into a tophat.
