Play Pass?

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

What's up with that Play Pass? On http://www.sixflags.com it says that it costs 47$ something, and it's a season pass! HOW CHEAP! it is! That odd. Ticket to SFMM costs 47 bucks, so it's beter to buy a season pass. P.S. there is even Extreme Play Pass? THAT's too much for this price!

Six Flags Magic Mountain introduced the Six Flags Play Pass. Taking a page of the Busch and Paramount Parks playbooks, you will now be able to get this special season pass good until the end of the 2005 season for the price of a regular one day admission. Best of all... no blackout dates and the Play Pass will be accepted at “all 20 Six Flags theme parks across the country”. Since the Play Pass will likley cause an increase is park attendance levels in 2005, Six Flags Magic Mountain is also offering a limited number of Xtreme Play Passes for sale which will include free FastLane front of the line access, free parking and 20% discount on food and merchandise. However the extra benefits of the Xtreme Play Pass are only good at SFMM, though the pass is good for admission to all other Six Flags parks.

The play pass is for Magic Mountain only, as of yet. I wish SFGAm would get the Xtreme Play Pass, that owuld be awesome.

When a park starts offering deals like this, you know the said park (SFMM) is hurting.

Magic Mountain? You're prolly right. Usually lines for X are about four hours. Last time I went, they got knocked down to two....I mean...that's still long...but still...in the middle of summer? Goliath was only 30 minutes and Superman was closed.
