I thought this was kind of neat. Shows the parks rides, picnic areas, parking lots, etc. Also shows on a small street map exactly where the park was located.
They had 7 roller coasters when the park closed, they were:
1. Big Dipper
2. Bobs
3. Flying Turns
4. Jetstream
5. Silver Flash
6. Sky Rocket
7. Wild Mouse
They were all wooden except for Flying Turns, which was a bobsled coaster and Wild Mouse, which was a steel coaster.

You may actually have your wish, Riverview II is in development, no joke.
I read somewhere that in its heyday in the 1920's they had 11-12 coasters. Thats a ton of coasters. thats more coasters than most family owned parks have today.

Yea, they do have the Riverview carousel, with a missing horse. One of the horses is missing, and it is a long story why it is missing. If you look, you can see the holes in the floor and the ceiling for the horse, it has been removed, and SFOG does not have the horse. The horse is somewhere else. I am too lazy to tell the whole story, so I will let someone else do it, if they know the story.

not to get off topic but a couple years ago my dad gave me a brochure from Disney world in '74 or '75. its pretty cool, if any one wants to see it, ill put it on my website
I thought the project was done for good. Its cool that they are starting it up again. It would be awesome if this goes through.
Im jealous of my dad because he went there a few times when he was younger. He still thinks the Bobs is one of the best wooden coasters hes ever ridden.
