Hi everyone, I just joined here a few days ago. This will be my 44th post and my first topic started. I know that many of you have visited CP in the past, and I was wondering if you could help me out. I will be going there Monday for the first time. What ride should I go on first? Will TTD be going again by then? Which rides are worth riding, and which are not? Do they have a twicket or MVP type of thing? I know that you have helped people from other places that have been coming to our park for the first time. I hope that you can help me with this.
Thank You
I won't have time to vist this site tomarrow so please respond ASAP.

I have never been to Cedar Point so I can't tell you what to go on and what not to go on. However I can tell you that TTD will not be open by then. It is closed indefinately.
go on millenium force, magnum xl-200, gemini mean streak and Wicked Twister(V2 but with no lines ever) and if ttd is open run to that ride as fast as u can and get on it. cause it is a experiance that everyone should live
go on mean streak it is a good woodie and i really liked it, oh and also go on gemini the last couple times i went there was only a 5-10 minuete wait for it. Go On Raptor it is a great inverted rollercoaster and it is better than BTR.
Oh sorry for the double post But they do have a multi visit thing where you buy these tickets that let you go to the water park twice and the park twice
I'll give you my top 16 at the park so you can use to base what rides are mos timportant compared to the less important.
1. Top Thrill Dragster
2. Raptor
3. Millennium Force
4. Magnum Xl 200
5. Wicked Twister
6. Mantis
7. Gemini
8. Blue Streak
9. Mean Streak
10. Corkscrew
11. Wildcat
12. Iron Dragon
13. Disaster Transport
14.Cedar Creek Mine Ride
15. Woodstock Express
16. Jr. Gemini
a.Wicked Twister does get a line.
b. Cedar Point has a 2 day ticket where day 1 you can go to Cedar Point and/or Soak City and Day 2 you can do the same.
Here is the and I mean the gameplan. Get in the park and check out dragster. If the wait is under a hour ride it and if you can get a handstamp for later in the day. Then go
Magnum
Gemini
Mean Streak
Cedar Creek Mine Ride
Wicked Twister
Disaster Transport (if you want to)
Raptor
Mantis
Millennium Force
Wildcat
Iron Dragon
Corkscrew
Blue Streak
Basically even if TTD is longer than a hour go on it. Because I used this plan but, ditched TTD and it was great but I got way too ahead of myself. We ended up with bad lines for Raptor and Wicked Twister. If you ride TTD first, everything afterwards should be under a hour, until Raptor. Hope this helps.
Definitely hit up Raptor! Amazing invert, for sure my favorite. Also Wicked Twister, I much prefer it over V2. Then of course make sure you get the big ones...Magnum, Millennium, etc.
Hope you have a good day. Have fun, it's an amazing park.
Raptor is an awesome ride. Wicked Twister, Millennium Force, Magnum and THEN Top Thrill Dragster are the best coasters in my opinion at the park. I live in Ohio. If you have any more specific questions feel free to IM or PM me, I'd be happy to help. My AIM name is Zachtrackxc - hope I can help some.
Be sure to ride Wildcat, Blue Streak, and Gemini they might not look like much but they are still fun. MF and TTD are worth the wait, both amazing experiences!
As I said earlier, thank you all for helping. I got up earlier this morning so I could see the rest of the post. Look for a TR around Tuesday or Wednesday.
Anyone know how much Pepsi cans give you off on admission? My goal last year was just riding on all the coasters once. This year im smarter this year and only waiting for stuff thats worth waiting for. I waited an hour for Mean Streak , Hour for Iron Dragon, and an Hour for Disaster Transport. Definately not worth waiting more than 15mins for any of those coasters. Mulitple rides on MF, Raptor, Mantis, Magnum, Gemini, WT.
^ I agree with that. The guy giving the boat tours said that it used to be a bobsled ride (kind of like Rolling Thunder). I think it would have been much better that way.
