They made smaller standups like Vortex @ Great America and Carowinds that are very similar to Iron Wolf, unfortunatley they're not very popular and I don't see any more standups being made..
And they're first independant coaster is Iron Wolf, however they made very similar rides like ShockWave at Drayton Manor when they were with Intamin so Iron Wolf wasn't really anything new.

Huh??? I'm confused. Too many people hate IW. I don't, but it still doesn't mean they will be making an exact replica. Georgia Scorcher at SFOG is very similiar to IW, but it is less rough.

Well lets see B:TR was extremely popular when it opened in 1992 being one of a kind so they gave one to every park imaginable because it was such a hit. I don't know how popular Iron Wolf was when it came out but I'm guessing it was nothing compare to B:TR's 2.5/3 hour waits opening year.
Iron Wolf, Intamin or B&M? Well in my opinion, it was made when Intamin and B&M were a team. I think B&M wouldnt make a clone of this. It only has a LONG line on crowded days, but it will still have a line. All in all, I dont see this being a clone ever.
The problem you have with getting new trains, is that Iron Wolf track is not the standard B&M track Guage. If we were going to get new trains they would be special ordered from B&M or new ones from Intamin.

Why not build a stand up coaster period. There are more Batman: The Ride clones (12) that have been built then there are B&M Stand Up coasters (7), and the last B&M Stand up coaster was built in 1999. Most parks obviously don't want a stand up coaster as no parks have bought one in several years.
This sort of thing about stand ups was discussed at SFN quite a bit. Basically it seems that stand ups are just a gimmick, and not much else. I know a lot of people who dont think standing up is very comfortable. I think parks would rather just buy a floorless.
I really don't see any more stand ups being built. I think the only stand ups that are popular are Riddlers Revenge and and Mantis. You can easily say that those are only popular because of the inversions and height. Parks want whats popular so it will bring in the money and standups isnt where the money is.
Hyper coasters are expensive and only major parks can afford them. They made there first one in '99. And by that time most parks that could afford them had Morgan or another company (well atleast Cedar fair) make them one. Then Giovani started to make one and two major parks with lots of money( SFMM and SFoT) bought them.

a custom morgan hyper coaster would cost just as much as a B&M hyper coaster .... depending on how much steel is involved in the making of the coaster.
Just look, if SFKK can have a stand-up, then they can't be too expensive compared to parks such as SFGAm, SFGAdv, or BGW that are huge with many guests and lots of income.
