Since when has SF been known to build a theme park from scratch in the past 20 years? If they were going to have a theme park, they'd buy out Adventureland, but I have my doubts on that happening.
Six flags just sold their park in Ohio, so they create one out of scratch in IOWA?Makes no sense, and do you know how expensive it is to create a park from scratch??
There is some other park being built in Iowa, I forget the name of the place though, but it will be fairly small, at least to start. It's in Council Bluffs, IA I believe.
Favorite Wood Coasters: The Voyage, Ravine Flyer II, Thunderhead, Balder Favorite Steel: Voltron Nevera, Steel Vengeance, Expedition GeForce, Olympia Looping Parks visited: 232, Coasters Ridden: Steel: 894, Wood: 179, Total: 1073
You are correct FP, they are trying to get one built in the CB/Omaha area.
I was always hoping Adventureland (my home park) would be bought by Cedar Fair though. Then they can build the 200 ft coaster and then they would own one in MN, IA and MO, 3 states border to border.
I went to Adventureland when I was about 9 years old and it would be the perfect park for SF to buy. But unfortunately its unlikely, along with Cedar Fair buying AL, because they just bought SFWOA. Hmm...that makes me wonder, how much dough did SF get for SFWOA? Because that could pull them out of some debt. Just wondering...

You mean Papa's Park? (No relation to our resident Demon addict)
