We've only recently realized the thrill and excitement of the coast addiction. Made our first trip from Minneapolis to Cedar Point a couple of weeks ago and just happened to pass SFGAm on the way home... So naturally we planned a trip as soon as we got home and will be headed out in the second week of October.
Any suggestions or recommendations on what to try first, or anything that should be avoided?

Have you tried Valleyfair? It's a park in your own back yard that's owned by Cedar Point's parent company.
