-With Iron Wolf leaving here to go to Six Flags America I figure Six Flags has brought this ride rotation back.
-Magic Mountain now loses the coaster title and is tied with Cedar Point.
There will be a lot of new announcements coming up in the rest of August, and September 1st is a huge day for all the parks thats when Six Flags said they would announce what's new for next year in the chain. This will be a fun two weeks....
-Six Flags Mexico will likley get Pandy. It doesnt make sense to send it to a park relativley close. I think SFMM will get either Pandy or a Eurofighter though. -Iron Wolf is going to SFA as "Apocalypse" -Deja Vu is going to SFNE The Ride Rotation Program is definatley back.
Top 5: 1) El Toro. 2) Maverick. 3) Millenium Force. 4) Diamondback. 5) X2. Coaster Count: 167 (41 Wood, 125 Steel) @Coaster_Cole on Twitter
Isn't it bad for coasters to be constantly be moved around. I mean look at Z Force/Flashback. It sounded like a good ride while it was at SFGAm but by the time it made it to SFMM it was crap. Same with Shockwave/ Batman the Escape. Was their any other rides like these. And some coasters like Olympia Looping are designed to be moved around

So how do you know Iron Wolf is being renamed Apocalypse?

I agree with you that I've always said that rides that are rotated around are usually bad rides, or have poorer capacity. So, what's the use of moving them? Have them for whatever years, and junk them. I don't get it.
Other rides they moved (SF) is Rolling Thunder that went Great Escape in New York. That was at Great America, but before it came to Great America, it was at Great Adventure. Another bobsled came from Magic Mountain, and that went to Six Flags Over Texas. Ultratwister came from Astroworld (because the park closed down), and that ride rotted at Six Flags America. However, I actual see on rcdb.com that it came from Great Adventure. Tidal Wave which was at Great America went to Georgia for a year or two (I think around where Superman is now) and it was called Viper, and than they moved it to Kentucky Kingdom - Greezed Lightning. Do you sense a theme with these rides? It's a dumb, dumb "program".
And if you look at the rotation program and see that some of the rides that were part of it went to Astroworld which closed down. So, that tells you something. I think there was a Sharwtkopf ride from St. Louis that even went to Astroworld. Oh, and I think there is that Kentucky Kingdom ride that went to Great Escape that I don't think they opened it. It was SBNO for awhile it seemed. It's an indoor ride. Okay, after looking at rcdb.com, it was called Nightmare at Crack Axle Canyon, and it was also at Darien Lake.
Can I say again this was/is a terrible program? It's just dumb, dumb! The only reason why I would think any ride should be given to another park is if a park has too many rides such as you can look at Magic Mountain. Maybe, having 18 coasters at Magic Mountain is too much, and thus let's say they get rid of Scream! I don't think Scream! is a bad ride, or that it has bad capacity, but if they moved that because they feel they have too many roller coasters, that's a good decision to move a ride out of Magic Mountain compared to moving a junky ride out of there to somewhere else. People say Revolution is rough, and I think Viper isn't that good ride over there. Now, if they moved either one of those, that's dumb. When they decide to stop working at Magic Mountain, trash them. Don't move them!

It's one thing to move a ride, but multiples in one off season is just plain dumb. The cost have to be quite high in the long run and I really question how much of a change it will make to attendance.
I can understand moving DejaVu to SFNE if operates reliably like it does at SFMM. They need a good new coaster and DejaVu is an awesome coaster, plus it has to close at SFMM every year for rehab whereas SFNE it can operate for the whole season. If reliable and operated properly, DejaVu will provide a much needed shot of adrenaline to that park (plus i'd love to see them remove the Boomerang coaster). What still boggles my mind is Iron Wolf to SFA, it's like they know it no longer has use at SFGAm so they may as well dump it off somewhere.
Yeah, but they aren't even replacing one boomerang for the other. They are having both rides which is the dumb part of it. To me, with a park that never had a boomerang, that would be St. Louis. 2 Mice, 2 Boomerangs at New England. Six Flags is just dumb what they are doing. And they don't add 2 mice at the same time, they add them separately and say that this mouse coaster is totally different than the other one. They are somewhat different, but they are very similar.
Does corporate even think hey Great Escape, Magic Mountain, and Over Georgia don't have a mouse, let's add one there, but nope (This is the one from Kentucky Kingdom!). What is wrong with these corporate people? It still doesn't make sense like New England didn't get Dare Devil Dive, and Georgia Kentucky Kingdom mouse. Plus, Georgia has the goods whereas New England has a lot of smaller ones. Sure, New England has Bizzaro, and Batman, but Georgia has 4 B&Ms plus Mindbender and even the Georgia Scorcher isn't rough like Iron Wolf.

^^ I would rather see DejaVu go to St. Louis. It's a warmer climate than SFNE, so the ride should run better than in the colder NE weather, the SFStl park seems to have smaller crowds than SFNE, so a lower capacity coaster would probably be better there, SFNE already has a boomerang coaster and just got a new (used)coaster this year, St Louis is more centrally located, so it would be easier for more people in the country to ride this unique coaster, and best of all, it's not too far for those of us who miss riding it at Great America to go! Plus, I think it would look great against the backdrop of the hills at St. Louis!
But I thought Deja Vu operated well (When not down for rehab) because of the good Southern California weather? The east cost is not as nice and has harsh winters so spring for Deja Vu could be troublesome. I keep hearing SFMM Will get a new drop tower which is needed but most fans will moan and groan over Deja Vu. I think Scream! should be sent to SFNE instead.

Yeah cause they don't have anything like Scream over at SFNE. However it hasn't stopped SF before
