Sorry if this forum was already made, offensive, ect.
...But I was just read online that Six Flags is hosting Muslim Day on September 12. Fox News did a debate on why it is offensive being that Muslim Day is the day after September 11. In this link below they explain as to why Six Flags and the group decided to have it on September 12. Also, they say "Six Flags in Chicago."
This topic is going to get deleted as there is no point in having it. Any group can have an event at Six Flags. It doesn't matter. They choose the date. There can only be one Muslim Family day a day across the nation. September 12 is the first one to kick it off. It also can't be during Fright Fest because of they're religion, and it has to be after Ramadan.
I attended one a couple years ago and they are no trouble in the park, I don't see how offensive it is to have it a day after 9/11. Not all Muslims are terrorists. Don't watch Fox News anyways, its full of lies and they never can get the story right.
I am sick of people lumping all Muslims in the same category. They have every right to enjoy themselves in an amusement park and building a Mosque wherever they see fit.
Timothy McVeigh (or however you spell it) created the worst terrorist attack on American soil before 9/11.
The ignorance needs to stop.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.
I'm sorry to post on a closed topic, but this is horrible.
I'm sick of people assuming that all Muslims are terrorists. There are extremists in every religion. There are Christians, Jews, Hindus, Muslims, members of EVERY religion who don't understand it completely and assume that everyone else in wrong in their religion. The Muslim religion has nothing to do with the September 11th attacks.
This whole thing about a mosque being built near Ground Zero being bad is just horrible. They don't worship a god that tells them to blow up buildings - it was just evil people. And it just makes it worse that idiots like Sarah Palin who don't know anything about religion agree that it's offensive - it's not. Whatever happened to freedom of religion?
Oh wow - The Smarty Pants Award for this year goes to me - you said "I am not going to close this", but I read "I am going to close this", I figured you just hadn't locked it yet.
