Lunar Express?

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

All:

Found a link on Bling.com in the travel section that referenced "The Latest and Greatest at U.S. Theme Parks". In checking it out, it listed everything that we all know is coming...The harry potter attraction in Florida, CP's new water ride, Holiday Worlds new water slide, etc.

However, the last item in the list was something I did not know about.

Below is the link

Here is the text from the page

Theme Parks: Luna Park, Coney Island
If you’re a fan of old-time amusement parks, Coney Island’s new Luna Park is for you. Inspired by the old Luna Park that entertained crowds at Coney Island from 1903 to 1944, the new park is scheduled to open on Memorial Day weekend with 19 rides, including a roller coaster called the Lunar Express, and an entrance that will look very similar to that of its predecessor. Park admission is free; guests pay per ride or can purchase an unlimited-ride wristband.

I did a search on RCDB.com for "Lunar Express" and came up with nothing. I also searched this site for the same, and also came up blank.

I was able to come up with a 2nd link, that talks a bit more about the park. This was posted back in Feb, and does say that the planned coaster will be a "Speedy Discovery junior coaster". There is also mention of a 2nd venue that is scheduled to open 2011 called Scream Zone. This is suppose to contain two custom roller coasters. However, no details were made available about the coasters.

Does anyone have any more information on this?

I'd guess it will be either a kiddie coaster, or a recent trade in that's still in the US. I think Zamperla may still have the S.D.C. Hurricane from Rye Playland sitting around somewhere, can't remember if it was sold or not.
